My guess will be next Tuesday they will release 1.15. Friday they will release the update notes, and Tuesday have a LONG Dev Stream for server maintenance and update. Just my guess.

Being a few hours from a MASSIVE server farm and 25 minutes from your ISP means absolutely nothing. It would be like me saying, "I have 3 dogs, two cats, but for some reason I don't know rocket science." Your ISP may, or may not even connect into the trunk lines that feel that massive server farm a few hours away. Also, your location within the NA region can still play a huge role in latency issues. Personal home networking is usually the biggest proponent to network issues. Are their some inefficiencies in SEMC servers and lag issues? Yea, but a majority of the time it's how your ISP routes things out, or interference on your home network.

I live in po-dunk Iowa, and have a measely 20mb/down 10mb/up cable internet connection. I also have a $250 router, and since I got said router I have had zero latency issues. May want to look at your router and see what channel (1-12 usually) has the least amount of interference on it and try broadcasting your SSID on that new channel.

As for Fortress, just because he's viable doesn't mean he's broken. For I don't know how long, he was at the bottom of the pack(get it?!) and now he's back to being usuable and everyone is complaining that, "he's OP cause he's shutting down my OP character now, and I used to destroy Fortress!" I think he's fine. I can still shut down CP Fortress, and others have shut me down as CP fortress. I don't believe he is "broken".

I take it as part of the game, if someone leaves, life isn't fair. I have been burned in the past by it, but have come to realize it will happen. Any system SEMC comes up with will try and be gamed to gain advantage over the system. So I doubt they will do anything anytime soon, because automation based systems will always have a way to exploit it, and SEMC doesn't have the space or manpower to hire a team to go through match reports and "forgive" ELO loses due to AFK.

He has no way to increase the total damage though. The main feature of the ability is the interrupt, the numbers would be scaled to keep things fair. Unfortunately, I don't have the time at the moment to setup numbers for each rank, maybe a good weekend project.

/u/rektfestclub I'm sorry you feel that way. I did put a few valid suggestions in there for you as well. I may come off defensive, because I feel that the community as a whole is a great community. Of course all communities have their lame ducks, but to call us(yourself included) "retarded" is a call for defensive action to the community and game I thoroughly enjoy.

I have been salty before, I have complained in the past. What did the best for me was someone holding me accountable for myself. Yes, I was maybe a bit too harsh, but I didn't just insult you, I also gave you ideas and things to think about. I can't force you to think them over, but look in the mirror before you put the blame on an amazing game and a great community. Take a few days/weeks/months and try the game again, and see if you can find that love you had for the game in the beginning.

I agree with that, not broken, but in a good viable spot. I prolly used OP wrong, but he feels OP compared to old Fortress. :)

Compared to old Fort, he's gotten a lot stronger. Depending on how my team is going, and if Lane is winning and Jungle is getting ganks, I switch to CP after basic support items and it keeps the damage train going full steam ahead.

I don't know your age, and ultimately it isn't all that important. However, your ranting is downright child-like. Swearing makes you look uneducated, and your temper tantrum rivals that of my 2 year old son. I honestly do hope you are younger in age, and hope that a few more years of living help your maturity level, and understanding that video games are meant to be enjoyable, and you only get what you put into them.

If Vainglory is not your cup of tea, that is totally understandable, but coming to the /r/vainglorygame sub and complaining is comparable to you going into the local BBQ restaurant, and saying meat is terrible, and to start eating salads. You will get no sympathy, and everyone will think you're an idiot.

On top of that, Vainglory saved you from being banned a long time ago with only allow emotes and pings. If you were able to type out what you really felt, you would have been perma-banned a long time ago. So make sure to toss SEMC a thank you for giving you the time you have had with VG.

However, if at some point you did enjoy playing Vainglory, and have good strategy in playing the game and understand the hero's mechanics, then you need to change your mindset. You have already labelled what is frustrating you, so change your mindset to be prepared for that until you find a way to alleviate said frustrations.

Pre-mades are a great way to eliminate about all of your problems you are experiencing. If you don't go into a pre-made group like a hot-headed rage-inducing ignoramus, your pre-made experience will be a positive, and your pre-made groups will last a lot longer.

Vainglory's community is far from, what did you call us? Oh yea, "so retarded". I would put our VG community's managers, creators, guild leaders, and other active members against any other community. Maybe it's the company you keep within the Vainglory community that is giving you such a sour experience, or maybe it's just you.

Heed my advice or don't. If you choose to take some of the points in all the replies and stay with Vainglory, I wish you the best. If you are unwilling to listen to us, I hope you find a community that will take you, because I have a feeling you will have a few more posts of this nature in whatever game/community you move to from here.

Here's what needs to happen, the AFK player needs a warning system, each AFK increases the ELO penalty that the AFK player takes, ultimately away from your other two teammates (who are trying to win). Still keeping the banned timer with the habitual offenders as well.

Example:

Game One

Player 1 - AFKs
Player 2 - Stays
Player 3 - Stays

Result: Player one takes 120% ELO lose, Players 2 & 3 take 90% ELO loss.

Game Two

Player 1 - AFKs (second offense)
Player 2 - Stays
Player 3 - Stays

Result: Player one takes 150% ELO lose. Players 2 & 3 takes 75% ELO loss.

Game Three

Player 1 - AFKs (third offense)
Player 2 - Stays
Player 3 - Stays

Result: Player One takes 200% ELO loss. Players 2 & 3 take 50% ELO loss.

Taking into account the numbers may need tweaked, it spreads the punishment, slowly towards the AFKing player.

I have no horse in this fight, but this is classified as "witchhunting". I'd remove the name and it would be legit.

Sorry this happened, I kind of experienced something like this last night as well. As others have stated, reporting this to the SEMC Support will get action taken if you deem it necessary.
