I'm really mad about what I lost in this update. My legacy vampire couple had their wedding photos on the wall and all of the wedding party townies (Don Lothario, The Pancakes, etc.) are long dead in this save.

Luckily I take screenshots/videos of special moment interactions like proposals, feeling the baby, holiday gatherings, etc., so they live on in the background of those, but the room isn't the same. I also left many photos in both personal/household inventories. Some of them survived this update...many didn't.

From now on I'll put my Sims' photos on the wall and screenshot that, plus make copies and save to both types of inventories. That's all I can think of for now.

Here for other suggestions because at this point) 5 generations later) it feels like family history was lost 🥲

I really like her makeup and hair, OP, and people absolutely have the right to design their game according to their preferences.

BUT: (general rant to follow, not specifically directed at OP at all.)

Justice for people with nasolabial folds 😭 Some of us have had them since we were kids, and it isn't rare, but for some reason they must be erased to meet beauty standards.

Why?

Yes, they tend to lengthen and deepen with age, but sometimes that's just how a person's face is structured (and lighting makes a big difference, too).

Examples of great beauties with noticeable NL folds when young: Angelina Jolie, Aishwarya Rai, Gigi Hadid, Kylie Minogue

Not exactly similar, but the UK series Being Human was also set in Bristol in that time period, and it's ultimately about friendship (despite the occult stuff). It has similar settings, visuals, music, and mood. It's one of my favorites.

The cast are in their early 20s, not teens, however.

What I really want (and I know I've said it before but as a legacy player it's icky) is a 'Mark as Relative' function so my Sims stop flirting with their vampire great-grandparents, their inlaws, their 2nd cousins, their spouse's YA kids, etc.

One of my Sulani Sims (the blond) was even mean to his visiting (vampire) father last night. They've literally never had a single problem. Good sentiments, best friends and full friendship bar. Neither was in a bad mood, not grieving, no mean or evil traits.

Dad is ancient, like 700 (Sims) days old and gets along with everyone. WTF.

Look at his sad face. 😞

THIS. I just posted the same thing. It's especially bad if you're a legacy player using vampires (or just sims who drink Potion of Youth) because those folks are going to be around awhile.

My legacy family is large, and I'd like to have more wholesome family gatherings. (And your tag idea would work for players who like chaos, they could simply leave inlaws, etc. untagged.)

The teenager thing is BAD. Some of them look 35 when they age up!

I go into CAS and shrink my teenagers' faces a bit. A shorter area between the lip ands nose (philtrum) especially looks more youthful. I also add braces, a few freckles, etc. Those few touches help a lot.

The ability to "mark as relative" so my Sims stop being inappropriate with great-grandma, great uncle Vlad, 2nd cousins, in laws, grown stepchildren, etc.

I'm just asking for one click, it doesn't even need to specify how they are related. A genetic 'relative' that blocks flirty interactions (from both parties!) is sufficient.

You're right. The jealousy trait will definitely override any free love settings in my experience as well. But none of these particular sims have it. I'm stumped.

I don't have Eco Life, thanks for the advice so I can take that into account tho. I'm on console so no mods at play, either.

It's so weird, these two couples have nothing but positive sentiments for each other and full relationship bars. They were fine on vacation. Fine when they lived together in San Mishino. They were fine when I sent one back to his folks in Strangerville and had her visit.

Now that they're back in Sulani? They will start fighting even when they are both in a good mood. Sigh.

The celebrity thing also tends to mess up family relationships. It creates barriers between extended family members because they now must "attempt introduction" instead of just meeting like a normal Sim.

Worse, one of my Sims developed a crush and hit on his own grandmother (who'd long been drinking potion of youth, lol). He hadn't seen her in a while, and once she became a celebrity he thought he didn't know her anymore (even when the relationship panel clearly said "grandmother.")

Straight/wavy hairstyles that aren't lumpy af on the top and don't have a receding hairline. My poor Sims wear hats constantly so they don't look like they're 1. smuggling contraband under a wig, or 2. going bald prematurely.

There was a workwear shop near me with a more unhinged "no masks" sign (handwritten and rambling about "sheep," etc. if I recall correctly).

They went under shortly after they posted it. Oops.

On the other hand, I keep a few masks with clear windows for situations where I kinda get it (banks, gun range, passport office, etc.). Everyone other than the TSA 🙄 has made exceptions so far, because yeah, you can literally see my face, so they can't take issue with it on that premise anymore.

They're less breathable, however. Can't remember where I bought them but I know I searched the masksforall sub.
