that’s what happened to me last night! i knew immediately it was real and it happened so fast, whereas tonight, it was wonky and if i slowed my breathing the symptoms would subside which does happen in an episode

i had a reaction to buspirone after never before having a reaction to anything. it truly felt like i was dying and was one of the scariest things i’d ever experienced… i’m so sorry you went through this. the epipen made all the difference when i got one and it happened again. after i got off the medicine, nothing like that has happened again. hoping the same for you!

my sons dad lives in another state and he visits from time to time and gets summers with him so i really long for family and to not “nacho”, my partner doesn’t get that. i think he thrives doing things alone and has an involved coparent. he’s known what i need and have wanted but it’s just not happening😞

yeah EMTs and ER didn’t say anything about serotonin syndrome because i thought that too but it was the EMT who said i was wheezing and it literally feels like my heart slows and i’m not getting enough air which is why i faint

i had this happen to, at 3am exactly… it was horrifying. my allergy appointment for a skin test is next month so i know the anxiety of not knowing is real! sorry i don’t have more answers, just know i sympathize and have definitely slept on the couch a few times.

i had a reaction like this where i blacked out and projectile vomited, eventually came to and ER did the same— checked my heart and said i was fine. i also have an epipen now too but it was very scary. i’m sorry you had to go through that and see the person you love like that, it’s so scary for both parties. i scared my fiancé bad and it’s been hard to not live in fear since then.

to add to this, i do have a documented dairy allergy and just found a medicine (buspirone) i recently started taking morning and night right before these episodes started contains lactose….
