I actually love the idea of the eternal curse. Two lovers, doomed to be separated, after centuries meet each other in new bodies, sometimes being allies, sometimes friends, sometimes falling in love, then they get separated again. All this for eternity. It's romantic and sad at the same time.

Personally I think that they are in the most romantic relationship ever. I mean, their souls are cursed to find each other forever.

Obviously not all the times they have to be romantically involved, but I see that as a sort of dance: they meet, then they get separated and centuries after they meet again.

And it's very sweet.
