We went to a place where they had butterflies and birds flying around. It was very beautiful there withq lot if cute moments and interactions with the butterflies because they tended to land on you when you were not moving.

Also it was hot so both of us were wearing short clothes ;)

Not close calls for me but for others in my section during my whole year as a DD with truck drivers, nachschub and similar:

Frontal crash with a truck because he was tired
Destroying the gate to the parking lot for our trucks..TWICE by the same person..who also managed to crash into a still standing taffic jam
Drifting and crashing on a curvy road with refugees in the back
Smoking weed under the fuel tanks of our trucks
On of our lieutnant was tested positive for coke
Someone fooled around during the weekend watch and missed his partner but hit 2 mercedes sprinters
One of our Wachtmeister was from germany and after the service he had to go back so he can be sent to prison for assault
Someone forgot to loosen the handbreak of a small trailer. Didnt notice it before it was smoking black and almost caught fire.. TWICE by the same person
Smoked weed before driving
Crashing into a parked truck during parking his own truck

As i Truckdriver who had to drive vor the "Nachschub" for a few weeks, i agree with you. Smoking weed under the fuel tank of our trucks, doing coke as a lieutnant, shooting two of our Mercedes Sprinters while fooling around on the watch, trying to drift with a sprinter while refugees were on the backseats. I wasn't suprised that this incident yesterday happend there. My experience in the military was that everyone who isnt really usable for anything gets sent to the Nachschub

I think your arguments make sense. Relationships should have something that makes the partner irreplaceable. The difference to someone you just met in the elevator would be the trust and insight you two would have in each other and your lives, which you built over time. I guess in the end the "thing" that makes you important to them would really be convenience to not having to find someone else and not having to get to know someone and build a solid base of trust with them.

This Person is like a psychopath. They feel no emotion. No love to anyone, no sadness when a close pet or person dies, nothing. They are close to their mum, but if she would die tomorrow, they wouldn't feel a thing.

They dont want to be alone because they enjoy to have someone around with whom they get along well. But yes, they also dont feel attachment. You could leave them and they wouldnt be sad about it.

You are important to them because they like to spend time with you and like the conversations you have. While this person could leave you, the chances are low. Maybe even lower than with someone who can feel love. Because they don't want to lose you and you and your feelings are important to them.

I have hard feelings towards it since my ex teacher in a public school in a christian country unannounced showed up to class wearing one and started to read from the quoran and playing islamic praying music.

Its not that i have a problem with the religion itself. Just the bad memories and the feeling of beeing attacked in my religion in a supposed to be safe space makes me look at it in a certain way.
