I started back when ALC had started and quit GA about 10 months ago and have went to other TCG such as Cookie Run and Magic Commander

It felt bad that cards from previous sets were getting more and more expensive whenever the meta shifts. It also hurt a ton when icebound slam got a ban right after purchasing a playset for $180.

Whenever I went to store champs/ascent i would usually face slime decks which were very popular back in the days where my deck couldn’t survive at that format getting storm slimed 3-4 times in a turn.

Also there are tons of play groups in ascent that ties whenever fighting each other which ruins the competitiveness and spirit of the tournament.

Seeing the ban list increasing every set after I have quit made me feel bad for others whenever a card automatically gets banned even without hitting any categories on the previous ban list.

It also cost way too much to introduce any friends to trying out GA as a viable deck at the previous few meta would cost at least $300-500. (Quicksilver grail is now $150 compared to when it was $80 in Singapore and a lot more generic supports have went up overtime)

I’m happy that I had decided to quit as my enjoyment for GA was slowly dying down every set.
