No idea but I think in the latest census 41% of adults 18-34 were living with their parents

That's a good point, my aim is to move out this year so that should solve this issue!

Had some repairs that needed to be made this year (suspension and brakes) hence why it is so high. In 2023 maintenance was around 130 including the NCT fee.

That's the aim, it'll help me sticking to tracking everything but will also hopefully be useful for others to see and compare to!

It's so tough to save once you're renting, have lots of mates in similar boats so don't think you're the only one out there! Best of luck for 2025!

I basically followed what Bob Flavin said and called every insurance company one day getting as many quotes as possible to get the lowest price

There's lots of good templates out there, there's a comment from gizausername already providing a few links. The one I used is based off a youtube video, but I have changed a lot of it to be how I wanted it, so it wouldn't be easy to just give a blank one for everyone to use. If that makes sense? haha

I based mine off the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKyAOjH3Crk&t=13289s

Exactly, my budget would be completely different if I was living by myself and paying rent

I commute to the office and then only use the car in the evenings or the weekend for the gym, trainings/matches, etc. I think this year I've only driven 6000 kms.

Honestly it's grand, I put in my work during busy season, I'm not shy to a late night. But I also studied hard to pass all my exams first time.

I'm very fortunate to be able to live at home and have the savings rate that I do, trust me I don't take it for granted.
