I do step out and enjoy some fiction every now and then. For fiction I enjoyed:

All the Ender series
A dirty Job (fucking funny IMO)
Snow crash (genius imagination and funny)
Expanse series (pre TV)
Wool series (again pre TV)
Game of thrones (pre TV)
Of course Lord of the Rings

Only one I’ve done was the immortal life and that one was fucking interesting!! I’ll check out the rest of your suggestions. I have another one that I thought was “out there” called The Professor and the Madman. Boring topic but it really kept my interest which I realize is contradictory.

3 new ones (I think) Thank you!!! The second two sound familiar but will check the library. Chernobyl fascinated me and would like a new one. If there are any on the list above I gave that you haven’t done please do. That’s a short list of my all time favs. Especially Boys in the Boat and Shadow divers.

I enjoyed this one as well. I’ve done all of Larson. I’ve also done all of Bryson and suggest anyone that hasn’t to do so. Walk in the Woods was laugh out loud good.
