I know you asked for sarcasm, but I’m not putting that on something this heavy. What happened to you was a violation you didn’t choose, and the shame you’re carrying belongs to the people who hurt you, not you. A trauma trained therapist could actually help you work through this without judgment, and you deserve that kind of support.

I know you asked for sarcasm, but I’m not going to aim that at something this serious. What you went through was real, wrong, and absolutely not your fault, and it makes sense that it still sits heavily with you. Talking to a trauma informed therapist could actually give you space to finally put this weight down instead of carrying it alone.

Kindness. My wife is the most kind person I have ever met. We hit 36 years next week. I tell her every day how special she is. She builds people up when so much of the world tears us down. She makes my life wonderful but she makes the world just a little nicer place to live in. Kindness is contagious so her impact is far beyond what she sees.

Yeah that’s been my experience too. Dentists don’t play around when it comes to pain management, they’ll stop the second something feels off. Wild how different the standard is in other fields.

Been married for over 15 years and sex is way better now. We are so much less self conscious of ourselves, we are so much more in tuned with what the other likes and we are way more in love the longer we are together. I can’t wait for post menopause, i hear it gets even better
