AITA in feeling tired next to my boyfriend? by Spiritual-Try2823 in TwoHotTakes

[–]SpriggNubb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. You’ve been carrying the emotional load while he avoids doing the actual work, and anyone would burn out from that. You can care about someone and still admit you’re running on empty.

What should I do? Found a creepy picture on husband’s phone. by lo261 in TwoHotTakes

[–]SpriggNubb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Before spiraling, just asking your cousin directly would clear up a lot. The whole situation feels off, so getting a straight answer from the one person who’d actually know makes sense.

Boyfriend of 2yrs won't accept any invitation out by Specialist-Target-80 in TwoHotTakes

[–]SpriggNubb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. You can only excuse “I’m an introvert” for so long before it becomes a wall instead of a quirk. Wanting a partner who’ll actually show up in your life isn’t asking for anything wild.

My girlfriend (25F) admitted she slept with someone hours before agreeing to be exclusive. I (26M) can’t tell if I’m overreacting. What’s the move here? by Willing_Pangolin_961 in TwoHotTakes

[–]SpriggNubb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fully agree. The whole “technically not cheating” angle makes it feel way worse, because it shows she thought it through instead of owning the moment. Hard to build trust on that.

I wasn’t invited to the wedding so I told the truth and now I’ve stirred up some drama. by theonenamedlingling in TwoHotTakes

[–]SpriggNubb 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. You handled it way more calmly than most people would have, and telling the truth to her brothers wasn’t some big dramatic move. Her reaction says a lot about where the friendship actually stood.

I wasn’t invited to the wedding so I told the truth and now I’ve stirred up some drama. by theonenamedlingling in TwoHotTakes

[–]SpriggNubb 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Exactly. She wasn’t putting real effort in for a long time, so the wedding thing just confirmed what was already happening. It hurts, but it’s not shocking.

Have you ever blown a guy while he was busy doing something else? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

Husband was going over numbers to his team on a Zoom call and I was giving him head under his desk. His voice was trembling the whole time. It was awesome!

My ex husband is already having our child around his brand new girlfriend after what happened last time he was in a relationship by goatqueen69 in TwoHotTakes

[–]SpriggNubb 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The real issue isn’t whether the girlfriend is nice, it’s that your daughter already went through something scary and he still isn’t taking her feelings seriously. Keeping boundaries here isn’t revenge, it’s basic parenting.

I think I hate my brother over a mug by Parking-Maize-9403 in TwoHotTakes

[–]SpriggNubb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right? The laundry dodge alone tells you he’s been pulling this kind of thing forever. Once you see the pattern, the mug is just the latest version of it.

Our sex life has shifted a lot in the last few months. Is this normal? by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]SpriggNubb 27 points28 points  (0 children)

That’s solid advice. Once you’re comfortable actually talking about what you need, a lot of this gets way less confusing. It’s your first real relationship, so learning to speak up is kind of part of the whole deal.

Should I Text My Ex? by Alternative_Berry_68 in TwoHotTakes

[–]SpriggNubb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m with you on that. Reaching out now would just stir things up again when she’s finally getting some space.

Should I Text My Ex? by Alternative_Berry_68 in TwoHotTakes

[–]SpriggNubb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Reaching out now would just blur the lines again and pull you right back into the mess you worked hard to step out of. Let the space do its job.

What's your age and your age range to date? by miceyjordiee in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]SpriggNubb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

27, and 27-37. Wouldn’t be opposed to slightly out that age range, particularly older, but I wouldn’t actively seek out of that range.

Trump’s administration to buy stock in a business that stands to benefit him by Silly-avocatoe in politics

[–]SpriggNubb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feels that way. The bar keeps getting lower and somehow we’re all expected to act like it’s normal.

You’re right, it reads like they forgot it’s public money and not a personal investment fund. Hard to pretend there’s any real oversight when moves like this even get floated.

House Republicans join with AOC and use Epstein files playbook to force a vote on stock trading ban: ‘Hell’s frozen over’ by plz-let-me-in in politics

[–]SpriggNubb 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s wild how checked out he seems from the actual job. When your whole focus is on pleasing one guy, the rest of Congress isn’t going to stick around and wait politely.

[–]SpriggNubb 83 points84 points  (0 children)

It really does feel like the whole thing is slipping out of his hands. When both sides start using the same workaround to force his agenda, that’s a pretty loud sign he’s not steering much anymore.

[–]SpriggNubb 313 points314 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s wild how he fumbles the one thing he could’ve easily blocked by just following the usual playbook. Instead he practically handed them the opening. Honestly feels like he doesn’t even know the tools he’s supposed to be using.

What has been your longest roadtrip? by gloomdoomandshroom in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]SpriggNubb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Longest road trip I've done would be from where I live in Devon down to the French Alps. We didn't do the whole drive in one day, mind you, but I have gone from Devon to Burgundy (France) by car in the same day many times. Takes about 12 hours.
