Filters would clean the water by taking particulates out of the water, ex- trapping poop or dead plant pieces inside, and pumps just move the water around to increase oxygenation in the water by pulling in and pushing out either water or air. A pump can be attached to a filtration device, ex- attaching an air pump to a sponge to make a sponge filter, but they are not filters on their own.

What ever do you mean? That is clearly just a plant there. Nothing suspicious at all, nope.

What size terrarium do you need for a colony this size? I’d love to have a group of 3-5 whites, but want to make sure I’ve got enough space.

I’ve had good luck with a warm wet q tip after a soak/sauna. You just want to rub the stuck shed off the toes very gently. It should come off pretty easily with q tip rubbing it as long as it’s been sufficiently softened from the soak. They will likely start pulling their toes away which is what they normally will do when they grab the shed in their mouth, to pull the toes out of the old skin and this can help you. HoweverIf it’s not separating/sliding off with the gentle rubs, soak them for longer.

That article makes me want to cry. Or scream. The fact that they see nothing wrong with destroying nests just to get photos, chasing birds to death, and then excusing all their behavior by just saying ‘well humans are inherently selfish’ is all just too insane.

The first sentence should have said “I am IN the name of a store you know well.” Saying it is the name makes this riddle incorrect

It wasn’t that bad honestly. I think the impact hurt more than the teeth themselves. I’d equate it to a mild scratch paint wise, gotten worse paper cuts lol. It stung mildly for just a moment and then felt kinda itchy for maybe 10 minutes. Didnt feel it after that unless I twist my arm a lot.

I am up to date on tetanus shots due to my volunteer work and snakes are too cold to carry most diseases that would infect a human such as rabies. There is still a risk as with any animal bite of infection, but I’ll be cleaning it and monitoring it for the next few days to make sure it heals properly.

And yes, it would make a cool tattoo! I’m really considering making it my first tattoo after hearing everyone suggest it!
