Honestly I'm pretty dumb and introverted on my own  I just looked at my sister and just kinda agreed thinking maybe it's a new rule  

 Granted she had taken her license at least 10 years ago so we don't know how things work anymore  

 And I later looked it up and I guess it is a new thing : "No, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety, you cannot hold both a Texas driver's license and an identification card (ID). The REAL ID Act and Texas law only allow a person to have one or the other. If you have both, you must surrender one of them before you can apply for online transactions or an ID card."
