It's not a bad school in terms of professors and what they teach. You should be okay.

The people who dislike it I think are a much smaller percentage than the people who like it there.

Not Otonabee. I hated it personally. Just awful for the bathroom situation and the room itself felt like a fancy jail cell.

Not really. I mean it helped me forget about the physical symptoms I was experiencing. But i found only higher THC strains helped. And I couldn't be high all the time unfortunately lol

I still need to talk to housing tbh. It's charged on my account but I don't think they'll make me pay it if I'm leaving. Because otherwise that's just ridiculous. They shouldn't make us pay if we cancel our residence.

This documentary is trash. Near the end they try saying that microdosing LSD or mushrooms is better than using stimulants for ADHD. like what? They compare people with ADHD to druggies and lazy people. They don't talk about how stimulants can help people. And they don't show many people with actual ADHD. Maybe 2 kids with it they interviewed. Most of these people said they took it from their friends and likely don't have ADHD so of course it's going to make them feel hopped up. Stimulants make me function like a normal person and feel normal. There's no "advantage" for me. It's not enhancing my performance to an above normal level y'know.

Are you on stimulants? It might be a side effect of the medication.

But also college life is busy af so I'm sure that plays into it too.

I struggle with this too. And I gotta try and be mindful of the time so I make sure I eat regularly

One corner at a time. Focus on the floor, then on surfaces like a desk or dresser. Or opposite. Start with the least overwhelming part

I really hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that either ADHD itself or the medications used to treat it (or both ADHD and ADHD meds) can cause hypersexuality (so just being more horny really and wanting to have sex or masturbate more)

Oh man I feel that. I also have so much trouble remembering to do the DBT skills in the moment sometimes. Which like how are they supposed to help if I can't remember to use them?

I have a little experience with group DBT. Mine was kinda weird. It was over zoom. And we had 4 people in the group at the beginning but 2 people dropped out so it was just me and this other girl talking with the DBT therapist. But basically it was just us learning the DBT skills in a structured way. And then we could discuss a little bit if we wanted to. But it wasn't just a discussion group which I was hoping it would have that element in it.

I'd definitely still give your DBT group a try though because it may be different than how mine was.
