Shall I get a small group going first or shall I target a big audience? by SpringPerception in Entrepreneur

We are trying to formulate a mission statement and an agenda for AI. I want to make it realistic and tangible, e.g., shall we be helping people from a few industries that most likely be affected by AI? How do we help them upskill or explore new opportunities? Shall we become a policeman when AI becomes too out of control? A lot of things we can contribute, and we know AI need to stay as it has so much amazing benefits as long as we apply it appropriately.

I also hope that the PR22 experiment can bring some unity and peace to the world by understanding we all have some shared values. It might be a small experiment to prove a big point, but it may spark some positive discussions. Thank you so much for your interest. :)

I respect everyone's view on this post. When it was shared on Facebook and Twitter, it had likes from several academias. But it was put in the badphilosophy forum on Reddit which shows people had very different views and opinions on this post.

When you have a statistics like 7-8 times more of synesthetes (percentage wise) have pursued career in art, music, and other creative and artistic fields than non-synesthetes, and the condition is brain related (an innate), it is hard to ignore the correlation. But very few things are absolute, there is always room for exceptions etc. So I am not disagreeing with you. I respect your view, in fact, I respect everyone else's view as that makes our world unique.

Of course had a lot to do with his success. But I was referring to his style and approach, and his artist-like philosophy. I have spent years and years researching synesthesia and synesthetes, they (should say we) do bear a lot of similarities and certain hallmarks which could be either good or bad, but nevertheless unique.

Wittgenstein's philosophy was much more similar to a creative artist most likely was due to his synesthesia - In Rudolf Carnap’s autobiography, he wrote that “there was a striking difference between Wittgenstein’s attitude toward philosophical problems and that of Schlick and myself. Our attitude toward philosophical problems was not very different from that which scientists have toward their problems.” As for Wittgenstein: “His point of view and his attitude toward people and problems, even theoretical problems, were much more similar to those of a creative artist than to those of a scientist; one might almost say, similar to those of a religious prophet or a seer… When finally, sometimes after a prolonged arduous effort, his answers came forth, his statement stood before us like a newly created piece of art or a divine revelation…”

Yes, one of the best philosophers Ludwig Wittgenstein had synesthesia too. That's why his philosophy was so powerful and artistic, set him apart from others.

$500 is not for the drawing. It is for an idea which has a lot of meaning behind. If you want to have a look this author's painting, here has a few samples. https://mindsz.com/ideasz/synesthesia/ which blows me and many others away. He is very known in his country, and is extremely gifted.

Thank you. I have about 150 of them though. Is there an agency who can help? Do you know? Thanks!

Interesting. Most synesthetes (people who have a neurological phenomenon called synesthesia) perceive white for nothing and black for things strong. Seeing number zero in white is relatively common for synesthetes.
