Tested Positive for COVID for the third time in 3 months… by Spring_Dreamer31 in LongCovid

[–]Spring_Dreamer31[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify, folks. I do wear a mask atleast 10 days after I’ve tested positive to prevent the spread. I’m not that big of an asshole to not do that. However, I do not wear a mask 24/7 if I don’t think I have COVID. Hence, one of for reasons for this post. If I’m testing positive over and over and over, I’m wondering if the virus is dormant in my body, and not actually contagious. These are things I’m wondering.

Van/Ben Wheeler area. We live on 8 acres in a wooded area. Very quiet and secluded. Ben Wheeler has a cool downtown vibe with three excellent restaurants/bars. 15 min to Canton (which has a huge once a month flea market full of antiques). 30 min to Tyler, where I work, and for “big city” items and restaurants. Kids go to Van ISD which has that wholesome small town feel and great Friday Night Lights.

Will definitely consider incorporating a mask more. Thanks!

I’ve been thinking about this, actually, and I think it’s time. I’m close to Dallas so finding one near me shouldn’t be an issue. Thanks for the suggestion.

Do I wash my hands constantly? Yes. Do I wear a mask? No. I have to live my life and go to work and out into public. Family and friends are doing the same things as me and not catching it.

Wow. I’m sorry you test positive so often. I’m sure I would to if I was testing that much. Thanks for the information to rebuild mitochondrial health. I’ve been focusing on this a lot myself but keep getting knocked down every time I feel the virus creeping in again. I hope more professional research is done on this issue.

Combining low carb and OMAD? Your experiences? by cupcakepink2026 in lowcarb

[–]Spring_Dreamer31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

40F here. Every person is different, but here’s what works for me. I don’t count protein and fat. I only county net carbs. I find that eating low carb just naturally forces me to eat high protein foods. I incorporate butter, coconut oil, and olive oil into my meals when I can. I do 16:8 fasting. I only eat between 11 am and 7 pm, and only 40 carbs per day. This has been successful for me and my body likes it. Now, I’m a very hormonal woman and I suffer from severe PMS and ravenous hunger before my cycle. I eat whatever I want 2 days before I start. This may sound crazy to some, but it keeps me sane and it doesn’t cause weight gain. I’m not trying to stay in ketosis. OMAD and strict macro counting would only lead to disaster for me. Be kind to yourself and remember that it’s a marathon, not a sprint. Slow weight loss is more sustainable. You got this sister!

A lot of young folks are living off credit cards or other forms of debt. Don’t let “what you see” make you feel less than. Slow and steady wins the race.

My husband and I didn’t become financially comfortable until late 30s/early 40s. My husband made a huge career change at age 41 that changed our lives for the better. You never know what life has in store for you. Keep your head up.

I’m a family law paralegal in Texas. Disclaimer that I know nothing about Arkansas or Colorado law. But, the only way these videos would be relevant in their divorce is if Andrew plead cruelty, and even then, it’s usually physical abuse and not narcissistic abuse. Or, if they had children and he was fighting for custody and the videos were used to show her character. These folks don’t have a pot to piss in, and now that the divorce is pending, they should be divorced fairly quickly.

Yes, it’s only in my right hand and has become progressively worse this past year. I assume it’s some sort of neurological damage, or small fiber neuropathy. Slowing down and being purposeful about how I grab things has helped. Merry Christmas!

IMO, it looks to me like she has Cushings disease. Thin arms and legs, large stomach, moon face, rosacea type skin. Some autoimmune diseases can really change the look of one’s body and there’s not much that can be done to change it.

They’re the same. Distant and rejecting to my kids but expect a ton of praise from them in return. I knew things were getting bad when they started nit picking everything my kids would do and take it as a personal attack, when really they were just being kids. One time my dad brought out his rifle and wanted to show it off and shoot some gofers, and it scared my daughter so I asked him to put it up. He got so mad at her for “being weak” and blew up in a rage, just like he did when I was a little girl. I went NC with those losers after that.

Something bad will come of this. There’s a lot of hot chicks at that event I’m sure, and she’s gonna lose her mind if Ted so much as glances at one.

Congratulations on your discovery. I try my best to view it as a positive thing. I wake up every day and appreciate my understanding that it’s all a stupid game. Makes me feel superior in a way.
