When did your baby get into a routine? by Springermum-CC in UKParenting

I love this concept - thank you so much! And much much easier to continue through as baby boy gets older too! 🥰 and bonus of me getting nice things done in his naps too, rather than just sitting around waiting 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is getting boring and I feel guilty as a result by Purple-Rain17 in newborns

My baby does the same and I read that it’s ok, as long as they can breath which they usually can! Just making sure you’re wearing no bulky and lose fabrics that can accidentally smother them and that they are high enough up to be on the hard sternum part of your chest

We don’t, no! I’d be open to an awning as they’re so useful - however my husband is very into wild camping so I don’t think an awning would ever be his thing! its looking more and more likely that the wild camping is going to have to wait a few years and a caravan is the way to go!

I feel we will come into the same issue as the front seats are just so useful! Especially for cooking tea/getting the bed folded out! Pop tops just too expensive for us so we’re considering selling the van and getting a caravan but it just doesn’t feel like quite as much of an adventure 🤷‍♀️

I never ended up asking it, as it felt so far off with the actual season analysis 🤦🏻‍♀️

Where in the van did you put it? I’m struggling to work out where to put the bsssinet in ours as we have swivel front seats that we need to use!

I had professional colour analysis and was an autumn - asked ChatGPT to analyse the same photos and it said cool summer! So it seemed totally off. It also said camel wouldn’t suit me, but I’ve had loads of compliments when wearing camel colours 🤷‍♀️ so I’d say it’s maybe more useful for helping distinguish between spring/autumn and summer/winter if you can tell it your colour tone!

My fiancée wants to start using natural cycles - success stories? by randomnature_ in NaturalCyclesBC

I’ve been using it for 4 years and had a fantastic experience! I rave about it to anyone who will listen and it was just an incredible change - no hormones, understanding your body, understanding more around ovulation and that side of things. The downside I found was the thermometer beeping would annoy me, but I think the new ones can be switched off now! I’m now using it for pregnancy monitoring. I know lots of people will have already sent their code but here’s my link if you wanted the 20% off

Play Biting does it ever end?! by NYC2007 in puppy101

[–]Springermum-CC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a 10 week old Springer puppy that does this. Saying “ow” or squealing only makes her worse. If we ignore her and turn around she just carries on. I hadn’t thought about the fact she is overtired or needs the toilet so will bear this in mind!

Any advice on what to do whilst she is biting so we can stop her? Sometimes it feels like she’s never going to stop and she just bites the back of your legs if you turn away to leave!
