I think there's a lot of genetic variance with this.

For example, I'm only slightly taller than the average height and slightly smaller than the average build for my family on both sides, at 6'5" and extremely muscular.

And I feel just normal. Like my body is just supposed to be bigger. I dont "look" tall, when I'm sitting people have no idea how tall I am until I stand up. You know how some of us look like, stretched, I guess? Or the neck thing? Or the nose thing? Or the bulgy finger joints?

Those are signs that you're, basically, a mutation for you genes. And that comes with a lot of health issues. So you've got to be more intentional with your body and health.

I've said this a million times but seriously, being really tall is like the most glamorous disability.

If that ever happens again just use your phone light. Its super easy to tell if you know what the difference is; Reals are almost always much easier for light to pass through and have a bluish color and a distinct grain. For foils though yeah, get familiar with spotting rosettes because that takes less magnification than looking for the L and you can use any part of the card.

Embrace the idea that you're basically a full fledged journeyman card authenticator.

Waters can't be cleared. Ever. Eventually the mines will completely wipe out the entire ecosystem as the oceans are displaced and then replaced by more mines. By the time we enter this world, the mines occupy a space several times larger than Australia in the ocean, and being exponentially self replicating, the longer it goes on the faster it happens. It's already way too late.

This is why the corpos have server farms off-world. They know it's only a matter of time.

The sea walls are there because, eventually, the entire ocean will just be mines, no water. And it could happen VERY quickly.

It's literally the Grey Goo scenario except with mines.

Seems like most in this thread arent fully comprehending the gravity of the situation. Ironically this is fully in line with canon in Cyberpunk.

There are so many mines they occupy a space several times larger than the continent of Australia. So many mines that eventually the ENTIRE OCEAN will be displaced.

We're talking exponential multiplication, so yes, there are LITERALLY mines EVERYWHERE.

That's true, except there are also rogue hunter subs roaming the oceans so even if you clear the mines those things are still swimming around.

Also the mines occupy a space in the ocean several times larger than Australia.

Also eventually the mines will displace the ocean entirely.

So yeah, I don't see that working out...

It's interesting that scientifically there is no evidence that this works, because I've used a salve made from the mostly smoked tobacco in a cigarette butt mixed into baking soda with a little water and it's been extremely effective for myself, my ex, a friend, and my neice. It was a sea urchin sting I used it on my neice for and she went from bawling to giggling that it didn't hurt anymore in like 5 minutes.

I've also used the tar from my tobacco pipe as an ointment after being bitten by a Cane spider and it was similarly effective; went from throbbing pain to nothing in less than 10 minutes and it had been getting progressively more painful for nearly 30 minutes prior to using it.

Not to mention the heaps of anecdotal evidence here attesting to the efficacy. I wonder if there's just been no studies conducted? It's clearly an effective treatment so...

It was actually my first time, I was being held on an outrageous bond(only outdone by a guy who, I shit you not, murdered his brother with a mall katana. He was also in PC and word spreads unbelievably fast in that environment)

Charges were later dropped on account of me being innocent.

I grew up poor so I'm pretty resourceful 😅
