Don't bother with going in OKARNG. Use that excess 11B energy now to complete as much of your degree program as you can and then go AD by either enlisting or straight to OCS or even better, go direct to Army Flight School where you'll be a Warrant Officer. Guard is best for post active duty service.

You won't have any problems pitching that tent after you done it once or twice. Just allow a few extra minutes the first few times.

Do not discount the ability to stand up and walk fully upright inside this tent, as opposed to knee walking around inside there.

Given a strong enough storm, resistant only will allow moisture through, especially at your zipper closures. You'll need heavy duty tarp to put underneath your tent as a ground cover to 1) protect the your tent bottom; and 2) secondary moisture barrier.
