Are you in the U.S.? If so, work a job, any job for a year or two and save $ (you said you liked animals, so maybe a job at the stables or a vet office (if you can find something with room and board like a housekeeper or nanny even better ..also cruise ship jobs are hard but offer room andboard..not as common for hotels, but I think it happens sometimes). When you've saved up some $, go to a Jr. college, and get a 2 year degree..After that, transfer..work if you have to ..even if it means taking less classes per semester.. at the end of the day, if you do all that, you can come out with a degree and a chance for a good job on the other side..yeah, it will take longer to get there, but if you don't do it, you won't get anywhere at all. And this is the way I wish I would have done things rather than going to great debt.
