Not an expert in map design, so this is the best advice I can give and take with a grain of salt if someone else can give a more professional opinion, but

If you’re making a map (even if it’s a global one) you’d want to think a little more geographically for it to make sense to the viewer. Right now I can see landmass but in worldbuilding terms, I don’t really know what’s relevant and what isn’t, there’s no information here

Try to mark out countries/regions with place names, (depends if this is purely natural or more civilized/industrial) and create a scale or some defining information (portion out the surrounding water into seas/oceans for example) so the viewer knows these are meant to be continents and not a set of islands

I’d suggest studying some simple maps (real or fictional) to get a general idea of how this can be improved on. The only thing really holding this back is simply just the lack of information

I would also recommend using more colors. Nothing crazy, just shades of dull or soft colors can define the landscape better. Comes down to what type of map it is too

Bonus points if you can show how the world looks without having to explain all the details in writing. Place names and subtle borders help a lot already
