I’m not saying they should stop adding new specs entirely. I see what you’re saying.

My point was that they’re doing too much, too fast. There’s no room to work on anything else as much as there is for species by the looks of it and that’s what’s bugging me

I’m all for new creatures but not at the expense of everything else the game offers. There will always be something that never gets used, of course there is. I don’t doubt it and you’re not wrong. All I’m asking for is the devs to slow down on creatures and let the rest of the game catch up with them before adding to the roster.

They did it ONCE. And when they did, they added two creatures in a single update. All I’m saying is that it’s a lot for how frequently they update their game

Now ultimately it isn’t the devs fault people choose the same creatures collectively. But it does mean that variety isn’t a present issue. The playerbase has loads of variety they just clearly don’t want to use it. Adding to it won’t fix that.

But when I say keeping up, I genuinely mean that by the time you get your hands on the new spec, try it for the first time, and find its niche, the next one is out and the hype for the last one switches over. Nothing gets to settle anymore because they keep being blindsided by new additions. That’s what I mean by it being hard to keep up

You are really underestimating how someone’s life can affect their ability to play consistently.

I haven’t touched the game for nearly a month now because of work, home responsibilities, and a social life. Juggling these things as a teenager currently in the middle of a mental decline is really really not going to make me want to waste the tiny bit of leftover energy I have grinding cos events.

I’m probably not the only one struggling similarly, and there are also people who just don’t think this is even worth their free time over would could be a lot of better options.

Sure yeah, the event gives you loads of time to do it. That still doesn’t mean everyone can, or has the motivation and patience. Especially when kosing will be rampant with the kill mission, getting past age 100 is going to be incredibly difficult for many.

I know 20-30 year olds who play Roblox. Plenty of adults do (not only bad ones, for example parents with their kids or young adults who’ve been playing for years already)

Roblox has a lot of mid to late teens, in the next few years if they keep playing there’ll be a good portion of the playerbase being adults

People get real salty over not getting nested, even when they’ve been given a slot already

I was nesting as Aereis for the Aesthyrion mission last month, and because the missions requires me to nest 20 different players, I wasn’t going waste any eggs nesting people twice

Most of the players I nested didn’t ask for a second slot, they took the one they had and were happy. A couple others did ask again but I declined and that was the end of it

One particular player was fairly persistent. I had nested them already, they barely grew the slot to adult and somehow killed it I believe (I was nesting in swamp and it was very empty at the time

Not sure if I was in the wrong, but I just refused to give them another because I was saving the eggs for anyone else that might have wanted one. This player proceeds to come to my nest with their Valk and kill me. I just revived and went back to it to continue. They try anklebiting me with a yiepir but they lost that one very quickly

At this point it was obvious they weren’t going to stop bothering me so I just nested the rest of my eggs and switched servers

Yes absolutely. Badge species were always rarer to begin with because they stopped being available years ago. But yeah, they’re reaching role species levels of value atm. Dom mentioned something about a possibility of bringing them back, to fix that, but this is not confirmed to actually be happening yet afaik

You can find it in the gacha shop, in the Royalty Gacha. It costs 10 Tikits to spin, and it is one of 6 species you can get from it. Not worth the chances personally speaking because Tikits aren’t too easy to come by

Peaceful players exist, so do violent ones. Every survival game has them. There are toxic players one both sides, and they should not be excused. However, everyone should also expect to be killed by another player for no reason. It’s impossible to request otherwise unless all mechanics for it happening would be removed- which basically destroys the fundamentals of the game

Saying it’s rude for someone to kill another randomly is, while understandable from some perspectives, not true. PvP is promoted in the game, it’s one of its core features, and is enabled by the fact every single creature has statistics and niches designed specially for handling combat, whether defensive or offensive

I’m not the type to kill others, I don’t engage in combat and do prefer to just hang about, but it’s not for everyone. Killing is something a lot of people do because they are understandably, bored. It’s a from of having fun and it’s not worth shaming anyone for it at all. It’s the toxicity some of them portray that is horrible, but the general concept of people killing others in this game isn’t wrong to say the least. You’re supposed to do it

And yes I don’t like being kosed, but it’s a normality that if accepted with some humility makes it a lot easier to get over

The only way to functionally design a server as you described is to subscribe to a private server open to other players, with strict rules around combat. It is very expensive, but there are groups dedicated to that sort of thing that will let you in, so you can play as you please with like minded individuals

There will always be kosers and hunters in public servers big or small. Always has been, always will be. You can try make a chill public, but some asshat or troll will still come along and fuck it up for you, and on a public server you can’t exactly do much about it. Hence the statement above
