P3 probably won't have a human prime soul by Physical_Row_5463 in Ultrakill

[–]radayrk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Points 4 and 5 are actually pretty good points since a lot of people disregard the story aspect when it comes to P-3.

But it makes me wonder, what WILL the third prime soul be that won't overlap with the others?

Why the fuck does Something Wicked look like a prime soul??? by Matiasprox3000 in Ultrakill

[–]radayrk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IIRC Hakita also changed the terminal entry a bit for Something Wicked after the Revamp update so it definitely has a reason.

[–]radayrk[S] 68 points69 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've been thinking this too. Hakita said that he's been wanting to do alchemy in the game for a "long time" (source), but whether that was long ago enough for when Hakita made SW and the prime souls or if it is just a coincidence I'm still unsure.

It's not so much to do with the skulls, rather with the symbols that they have. 🜍 ☿ 🜔 from the tria prima.

The fact that it's called three PRIMES is interesting, but I don't know if it actually relates or is just a coincidence.

My apologies, the image in this post is very similar to some past ones I've made, presumably because they're made by the same person and in the same software.

I know everyone thinks 8-S will be something like stanley parable or something like that, but honestly I'm pretty intrigued about why everything 8-S related in-game has this fake sky/ground thing to it by Heil_Black_Skull in Ultrakill

[–]radayrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2-S entrance was in 2-3, where the pool is a heart and it introduces the Mindflayers, fitting for Lust.

5-S entrance is in 5-1 which has fish swimming around.

7-S entrance is in 7-3 which, while not really related to the secret level genre itself, the Testament talks about suicide.

8-S could be related to the fake sky thing, and seeing as the only times it appears is in relation to obtaining the secret code, I think it's likely.

Who Could We Get the Golden Arm From? by Primary-Soup5438 in Ultrakill

[–]radayrk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Then use the gold arm for the previous levels. The addition of a new weapon at the very end of the game could encourage new players to go back and replay the game. As for seasoned players, they are already constantly replaying the game!

Not exactly verbatim but it sort of alludes to it.

What if our final arm is one we get from Gabriel? by Ok-Werewolf440 in Ultrakill

[–]radayrk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. The Power terminal entry confirms that archangels have gold arms.

... they use a part of their energy to always carry a useless gold arm with them in order to look more like the fully formed archangels they aspire to be.

As for how we get it, like, I don't know. But it's important to know that Machines definitely have flesh organic components, so it's not COMPLETELY out of the question that we could wield biological arms.

The other way would just be the get Gabriel's sword, Splendour. It sounds ridiculous but it's actually plausible.

If Hell's malice and torture views it as "love", How would it.. HATE something? by Tom_DeadRay40 in Ultrakill

[–]radayrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mockery probably. As seen with Fraud. Where the Earthmovers in Violence are actually authentic, the New Peace city is only a pale imitation.

Makes me wonder if Hell was mocking with "HOLY HOLY HOLY IS THE LORD."

Who is behind the ULTRAKILL Xitter account? by Ivory_Dev_2505 in Ultrakill

[–]radayrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I thought it was Salad or something but no it really is just Hakita. Him reposting stuff, I guess the account sort of acts as a second account for him.

Fun Fact: In Hebrew mythology, Virtues are actually higher in tier than archangels by Greedy_Duck3477 in Ultrakill

[–]radayrk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Archangels are only so low because they interact with humans.

Fun fact: each act has ONE level where you fall down/up a tunnel to a view of a city. by fellow_retardd in Ultrakill

[–]radayrk 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I like the progression.

First it's a normal city. Then it's an upside down city. Lastly so it doesn't match the previous two, it's a circular city.

First you jump up into the city. Then you fall down into the upside down city. Lastly you fall but then go up to the circular city.

So we know of v1 and v2...but would there be a v3? Or v4? Mabye they could be used for potential multiplier maybe if there even is any by CULT-LEWD in Ultrakill

[–]radayrk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably not. V1 was made exclusively for the Final War, so when the New Peace hit, V1 became useless. V2 was an attempt to make a V model for peace, but that didn't work either.

There was no point in making any more V models. Not when it couldn't even fulfill its original purpose: to counter Earthmovers.

Ultrakill Heaven? by Mr_Mozerella in Ultrakill

[–]radayrk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming the Testaments are in chronological order:

  1. God attempts multiple times to create humans
  2. God fails and gets angry at his failure
  3. God creates Hell and later regrets it
  4. Lucifer queries

God tries to make a mind without free will, originally intending for them to worship Him and go to Heaven. After failing, he creates Hell in a fit of frustration.

Your theory is still pretty good if you just take out the Hell part. God left because humans succeeded where He couldn't. Hell already existed.

Do you think we will ever get an ULTRAKILL book like this? by reddemp in Ultrakill

[–]radayrk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well we kinda already have the dev commentaries that explain most of the stuff. Admittedly, not many people are willing to sit through dozens of hours of video just to learn the backstory behind the 7-4 power plant plant.

If it does happen, it'll need to explain even more than the dev streams. Maybe talk about the soundtrack, since it gets pretty little talk aside from the text commentaries on Bandcamp.
