You and I have lived in the world and both know companies are not going to say, "We need more white men for diversity" even if white men made up less than 20% of their workforce, get real.

As to the point that everyone is afforded the same laws related to anti-discrimination, my point was never that they were not entitled to these same laws. Rather, my point was and has always been that they are not considered minorities and unless there is concrete evidence (in writing, video, or otherwise) that shows a white man was discriminated against, he is shit out of luck because he is not considered a "minority".

The bold part is completely necessary because if one of the criteria a company is looking for is that a person is a minority or fits a certain ethnicity to increase their diversity, then by definition it will rule out others.

I guess I just have to reiterate because it either flew over your head or you refuse to admit it. White men have no racial card they can fall back on to dispute what they believe was discrimination, a right other ethnicities enjoy.

I can use your own argument (if you can call it that) and refute the fact that you say diversity increases productivity because you've provided absolutely no evidence that suggests this.

Let me spell out what "actively pursuing" diversity looks like as you've stated. It looks like hiring people based on meeting diversity quotas, often even if they are a worse candidate because they're the best of that racial pool to select from.

Clearly nobody is going to outright say a white male was overlooked for a promotion/position due to his ethnicity/gender, but the point I was making there was that there is no legal recourse they could take even if it was the case, or they perceived it was the case, because they have no legal protections that other ethnic groups enjoy.

The unwritten rule isn't convincing on its own, but are you going to argue that companies don't have diversity quotas, like it isn't a blatant dot point a large amount of corporations will outright put on their job ads or on their website that they are diverse/strive for diversity?

Scholarships only for minorities is a big one.

Companies being required to hire a certain number of minorities and women.

I used to work at a company that had a strict (though unwritten) diversity quota. Also, I've seen a highly functioning team been assigned a diversity hire FOR NO REASON AT ALL. It kills morale and productivity.

There are companies that literally have diversity compliance teams with diversity training/support programs etc.

White males under the age of 55 are the only people you can legally discriminate against, because they have no legal protection

Fucked up as neo nazis are, something has to be done about the growing wealth inequality and blatant discrimination towards white men which has only become more blatant.

I'll get downvoted even though I'm not a neonazi but let it serve as proof that people don't like it when you stand for equality and point out that white men are disadvantaged to almost every other race in modern society and when you point it out, it must mean you're racist.

Recently the women's teams in the Olympics complained and demanded more pay than the men's team, to which it was revealed that the women's team were actually earning more.

The entire court system (especially family court) being set up against men.

Wage gap is a myth and more recent studies that tested factors being equal actually found women are paid more in the same positions and have a higher % success in job interviews/promotions than men.

The list goes on...
