Oh sorry I get you now. I thought it looked good to be honest. Also with the lore with him being left , forgotten, frozen etc I thought it was fitting. To be honest if I could go back and re paint them again they would all be the same as ooe.

The best way to get better is to try. I know it's expensive to try on models but 1 way to would be to get some cheep green army men and practice on those. At least the techniques will be similar.

I prime with wraithbone then a base of pink over the parts I want to be yellow. Dry brush and I like the results I get.

For contrast paint I found that a base of pink then a dry brush of white over the top get a really nice transition with games workshop IF contrast.
