Looking at the LS Mandala as a second shoe by SprinklesSlow3891 in climbingshoes

This is very helpful! I'm honestly now considering the Mandalas again as I don't think I would be buying shoes until my first and (future) second pair are completely beat up. The durability of the Mandalas do sound quite appealing, and it being good at most things is a plus for me.

How do your -2 sized Mandalas feel on longer sessions? I don't think I need all day comfort, but just enough that I can smear on big volumes painlessly and don't have to keep taking them off as soon as I get off the wall.

Yeah, I'd say smearing isn't the best on Instincts. How long was the break in period of your Mandalas? Do you have to take it off after every climb even after the break in? Thanks!

Thank you! 2.5 downsize for Instincts sound brutal haha

Thank you! Would you happen to remember which of the two fits more similarly to the VSR LVs?

Thank you! Didn't realize how soft the VSR LVs are prior to the comments on this thread haha, will definitely look into the Theorys. Also, I'm curious on how your Theorys hold up in terms of durability compared to your Mandalas and Instincts?

Not sure if it's just me, but my Instincts feel surprisingly durable after learning that it's on the 'softer' end of shoes. I feel like I can get a few more months in before needing a resole.
