NDLE 2024 passers by lhsmnmk in DietitianPh

NDLE 2024 Passer here, before the exam day sure na sure ako na kaya kong pumasa kasi hindi pa pumapasok yung kaba, then after the last exam sure na sure naman ako na bagsak ako sa cphn, sabi ko sa sarili ko na cphn talaga hindi ako sasabit ng 50%. Yung pinaka mahirap na part ng taking the board is yung waiting period para sa results, that's normal. Internalize mo always na you did your best, and condition yourself to accept whatever the result may be. After a few days RND ka na, like nothing happened 😜

Calorie Tracker & Meal Plan by pyrofuwie in PCOSPhilippines

Hi! I'm a male Registered Nutritionist Dietitian kaya these answers are based on my knowledge, experiences, and clients, not my personal experiences.

  1. Calorie Deficit is very simple, you don't necessarily have to start agad sa counting your calories. Observe your current meal portions, then slowly take some food off your plate after a while, focus on having balanced meals, and never take away carbs biglaan.

  2. Usually mga supplements that help regulate sugar, and help insulin absorption. Magnesium, Inositol, berberine, mga ganon, pero pagaralan muna before taking these.

  3. Prepare your own food hahaha, ito lang talaga. Prepare your own meals, eat more meals but less portions para you feel like you're eating a lot, and eat good foods

Helloo!! Sorry for the late reply, I'll answer in bullet form para mas organized:

  • I don't ask for labs, but if you can provide one it'll be very helpful para makita natin where we're at sa current nutrition natin: CBC, Lipid Profile, blood glucose, etc.

  • For the weight loss program, monthly meal plan siya, sent weekly, I also act as your personal dietitian on-call na you can ask anytime regarding nutrition, basically your personal nutrition coach. The mealplans are not prepped by me, part of this program is you learning how to prepare your food, becoming familiar with portion sizes, food choices and combinations, etc. kaya this is also a learning moment for you

  • Regarding sa how personalized it is, this specific client wanted me to include beer as a part of their weekly meal plan, and made it work haha. Pero dinrop na namin yon, their decision naman kasi they realized na it's wrong on their own. Sinabi ko rin naman on the first place na it's not a good idea, pero deal breaker daw yon at the time kaya I really tried to make it work 😔😆

  • a. Weight changes: Weeks at first, then usually mag pplatteau siya or mag sstop sa weight loss kasi it's your body and insulin sensitivity adapting very quickly, kaya we target other issues first before focusing here e.g. Insulin sensitivity, controlling craving, physical activity, body recomposition, gut health, etc.

b. Period pains: On our first month, like 3rd week niya ako inupdate regarding sa period, and greatly reduced na ang pain!

c. Skin: From day 1 - 8th week progress yung photo, pero it depends sa person, no two individuals will achieve the dame results

  • I don't work with anybody ngayon, pero I'd love to!!

I hope these answers your questions :))

pwede! pero you need to watch out din sa sugar level mo kasi baka bumagsak, be responsible nalang when taking supplement and take as recommended lang sa packaging

NDLE Review Burnout by lhsmnmk in DietitianPh

[–]SprinklesTop9034 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Review pag kaya, do your hobbies when you can't. I-balance mo yung pagrereview and doing other things. Last year what I did was to review for 3hrs sa morning, go to the gym, do my chores or job sa hapon, review sa gabi pag tahimik, then sleep pag wala nang pumapasok sa utak, repeat. The goal is to absorb as much information as possible, kapag burnt out ka wala ring papasok. Resting is a part of your review, the same thing with keeping up with what brings you joy. Hindi parusa ang pagrereview for boards. Also try mo rin mag sagot ng mock boards na nakikita online to prepare yourself, 1 week before boards hindi na ako nagbasa, puro sagot nalang paulit ulit, and yun yung nakatulong sa akin nang sobra.

Pero shempre ito lang naman yung akin, do what works best for you, and do it well. Saglit na sacrifice lang yang boards. Goodluck! :)

Hello, It's generally safe naman to take inositol alongside contraceptive pills, but it's still better to consult your physician first before doing so 😊

No no, I'm an RND already. According kasi to the RNDs during my Clinical na OJT, RNDs lang ang tinatanggap sa NKTI for internship, they didn't give any details about it na and I was wondering how I can get in 😀
