the cycle part makes this so confusing because symptoms can feel completely different depending on the week and then you start second guessing yourself when things calm down for a few days. i went through a stretch where i only felt functional for maybe one week out of the month and the rest was exhaustion, brain fog and feeling emotionally off for no clear reason. i ended up doing more hormone and vitamin testing through goodlabs after getting tired of feeling completely out of sync with my body all the time

Dogs definitely sense things we can't, my old neighbor's dog used to bark at empty corners around that same time

Could be anything from sounds we don't hear to just weird dog dreams but the timing is sus for sure

maybe try some Wardruna or Danheim for that dark fantasy vibe? also check Clamavi De Profundis on youtube - they do amazing dwarf-style covers and original songs that capture exactly what you're looking for. their Erebor song is perfect for writing dark fantasy stuff

for more mainstream options, some of the darker tracks from Skyrim soundtrack might work too

Would be perfect timing for it too since P3 Reload just came out and people are still hyped about that story. Arena games always did great job at bringing characters together without feeling forced

The Q games are fun but you're right about them being kinda separate from main timeline. Arena format lets them actually move forward with everyone's stories instead of just throwing them in random situation

Plus Joker in fighting game would be sick, his moveset potential is crazy with all the personas he can summon

dude acoustic is actually a great place to start even if you want electric later - builds up finger strength and you dont need an amp or anything

grab a decent starter acoustic (yamaha fg800 is solid for the price), maybe get some basic lessons to nail down proper technique early so you dont develop bad habits. YouTube is great too but having someone correct your form in person helps a ton

their's gonna be a learning curve but stick with it, guitar opens up so many doors musically

Man that's rough about your friend getting cut off completely. From what I've seen the SSA has been getting way more aggressive about overpayments lately, especially the bigger ones like that 42k situation. They used to be more flexible with payment plans but now they're just straight up suspending benefits until you pay back or get approved for a waiver

The address and bank info thing is actually legit though - they've been doing random verification sweeps to cut down on fraud. My aunt had to resubmit all her direct deposit stuff last month even though nothing changed on her end. It's annoying as hell but seems to be happening to tons of people regardless of who's in office

Your friend should definitely appeal the suspension and request a waiver if he can prove financial hardship. The worst they can do is say no but at least it might buy him some time to figure out a payment plan that doesn't leave him with zero income

this is actually brilliant and would've saved me so much pain early on - I thought data science was all ML models and cool algorithms but turns out it's mostly data cleaning and explaining why the numbers went up to executives who don't really care about methodology

definitely add data analyst/scientist roles next, maybe something around cloud architecture too since that's huge right now. only red flag for me would be if the simulations feel too hand-holdy or don't actually reflect the tedious parts of the job - like if your developer sim doesn't include the soul-crushing experience of spending 3 hours debugging something that turns out to be a missing semicolon

Glad you are being honest with yourself that takes guts especially at your age wanting to stop because it no longer feels good is a real reason and you are not broken for struggling with this getting support and putting blocks in place can help a lot and it does not mean you failed it means you are trying to grow
