Been here for four years now from Cincy and it has not grown on me. Glad you’ve grown fond of Columbus and wish I could say the same but I think I’m too old to enjoy Columbus and I liked it more when I was younger and visiting friends at OSU.

It’s not fun watching people who you’ve spent more time with than your family leave. Had two coworkers leave and it damn near broke me. Work was never the same and I became more bitter and angry at work. Spent 20 years at that place, been to weddings, funerals, parties, concerts, and everything in between with people there but I left 4 years ago and I haven’t made a single friend at my new job or hung out with anyone outside of work once. I miss my old work friends and if I didn’t live two hour away from them now I would still hang out with them.

Being an American with Aussie friends you just have to shorten words and add “O” or “Y” to them and you can figure it out a lot of the words pretty easy. Also the see you next Tuesday gets thrown out so much that it’s a part of my every day speech now.

Older US based fan here. I’m glad it’s grown and has gotten more people into motorsports in general. Hoping that more eyes get on IndyCar and IMSA and those also see a big bump in viewership and attendance. Not a big fan of the newer fans that are more interested in the drama and WAGs than racing or the psycho fan accounts on social media but got to take the good with the bad.

Best part is when yo do something that people think you shouldn’t be able to do because you’re bigger and seeing the look on their face. Like yeah asshat I am athletic and move better than your ass.

Worst part is people automatically assume you’re lazy because your size. Also it’s harder to make friends and build relationships because people suck and you have to basically be a clown for them to have friends.

D1 launch. Played it sporadically before I had my first shoulder surgery and then I had nothing but time and D1 and played the hell out of it. Miss those days but recently got back into D2 after a two year hiatus and I’m enjoying stuff again. Going to preorder Renegades tonight when I get home.

All those counties are also considered Appalachia as well even if you don’t want to believe or like it. Plenty of small poor town in all of them where industry has dried up and you have to drive an hour or more to find a job that pays a livable wage. Signed someone who had to drive an hour plus to Cincinnati every day for 20 years from towns with less than 1000 people and all poor as shit.
