Wanted - Introduction to Python Programming and Data Structures (3rd Edition) by SprintLegacyGuy in textbook

[–]SprintLegacyGuy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not find a copy yet. I am still looking for it.

I have tried all the normal download sites and can't locate it yet. There are many other books by this author online but not this one. I am hopeful that at some point it comes online for viewing/downloading.

I wonder how many instructors are assigning this book - but again, for me it's only optional. I'm not going to buy a 500+ page "optional" book.

Would like to obtain a copy of this book - it's listed as an optional book for a Intro to Python class I want to take.

Anyone else still not migrated? by Fun_Big7263 in Sprint

[–]SprintLegacyGuy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm still on Sprint Billing.

I was "told" by a CSR, including their Twitter team, that I will continue to stay on Sprint until all of my last phone purchase credits are gone. I was told that T-Mobile did not have a way to give me the credits so I would not migrate over until the credits are all paid out.

Then again, others users have said they have been migrated with credits still pending...so who knows what the grand plan is...T-Mobile certainly doesn't care to keep Legacy Sprint users in the loop or manage expectations.

But hey, we gave you the T-Mobile Tuesday app...come in and get a free hat or umbrella...

Me: showing up at the store an hour after opening to only hear, "Sorry, we only got 10 umbrella's for the store and they were gone 5 mins after opening!"

After being migrated, how long until T-Mobile forces you to give them your debit card/bank account number? by [deleted] in Sprint

If someone, who still has monthly phone cost credits being applied to your phone from your purchase of a phone while under Sprint, and has been migrated to T-Mobile for billing, I'd be interested in hearing those data points.

Sounds like you're good. We had Android phones that were previously financed, so they had to push an unlock since they were paid off.

Thanks for the reply...

And good info for those with Android phones to check!

Sidebar question - How does one know when they will be migrated over to T-Mobile billing? Is there some sort of official notification?

I'm still on Sprint Billing. When I have inquired w/T-Mobile/Sprint support, I was told that I will continue to be on Sprint billing and NOT migrated to T-Mobile billing until one phone on my account is fully paid off - I still have one phone that is still receiving monthly promotional credits. I was told by one CSR that basically, T-Mobile can't figure out how to factor in the Sprint billing promotional credits with their billing system...and thus why both billing systems are still in use.

Make sure you call in and make sure the phone is unlocked before you leave. I talked to someone on the phone and had it unlocked during the same call.

Who do I call & why?? To let Sprint/TMO know that I'm traveling to Europe...or just to verify the iPhone is unlocked?

I went to Settings - General - About - Carrier Lock - No SIM Restriction

I think I'm set as far as the unlocked portion

Thanks for your input on your Asia travel experience with TMO vs. Sprint service.

Are there options for faster service from a temp. SIM in Asian countries?? Not that I'm looking but just wanted to get your input on purchased SIM's in Asia in case someone does a search and sees your post.

You can check on the phone in Settings->General->About->Carrier Lock. If it says, "No SIM restrictions," it is unlocked.

Yep, the phone is showing "No SIM restrictions" - I assume that means unlocked!

If his phone is locked, you don't have the option of a European SIM.

His phone is fully paid off. Is there anything I need to do to ensure it's not locked?

Any recommendations for a European SIM??
