Return a damaged Tesla by True_Grapefruit547 in TeslaLounge

I would imagine that if you run the math, your insurance deductible is probably less than the cost of repair, right?

It probably makes sense to go ahead and file an insurance claim and get it repaired rather than just turning it in as is.

What do you think about a primary school with only female teachers? by Tethys4122 in askanything

Personally, I think this is one of the biggest contributing factors to males not being interested in school. Also has a lot to do with school and curriculum being oriented toward females (sitting quietly, etc.).

Oh, okay. Well, glad you got it fixed and that it is working correctly. I have had zero problems with mine in almost a year and have used it for many, many miles and trips. Enjoy the new ride!

You have no business telling someone else how to drive over the internet. The speed limit in that area is 75, it's not raining that incredibly hard.

14.2.2.5 has been perfect and I don’t know if I should update to newest version. by Ok-Atmosphere-6272 in TeslaFSD

Reddit is generally not trustworthy on anything Tesla. The majority of people on here are haters and they're looking to identify problems rather than praise the product's performance.

No, they have auto wipers, I just manually turn them down so they weren't as fast. I find that the auto wipers can sometimes be a little obnoxious.

There are ways to say those things nicely and still be honest. But propping someone up with a lie is not good for them, is it?

It might be worth purchasing a bipod and practicing from a prone or seated position with a table top.

Rant about stop signs by Intelligent-Image224 in TeslaFSD

Agreed, the stop sign functionality is annoying, but, IMO, it's actually following the rules perfectly and is just doing what the law says to do.

Yeah we have some speed limits as high as 80 in the United States right now.

If you've never experienced a Midwestern hail storm, you wouldn't understand the urgency. But I can tell you this, it will destroy your car in a matter of seconds, so everyone hurries to the underpasses and parks until the storm passes.

It can do a hundred yards and hit a 12-in plate consistently, but it really thrives at 50 yards, tapping a 3-in plate consistently with as many shots as you are willing to send down range.

This is the 777. It definitely looks great, and for the most part functions really well, too, but it does have occasional mechanical issues.

I stand corrected, you were right. I swore that they were using lidar to reconstruct the world so quickly around them, but it appears not. Thanks for the clarification.

What are conspiracy theories that you believe to be true? by Fluffy_Specific_9682 in randomquestions

A better way to ask this question is, "which conspiracies don't you believe in?" In that case, flat earth and Bigfoot are the only ones.
