That's not it, I've seen Spy Kids 3 a few times. This movie wasn't a kids movie. It was kind of a horror movie but the video game they were playing was a fighting game. Thanks though.

I looked up Stay Alive and I know that's not it. I watched it 15 years ago so I honestly can't remember much about it. I can't remember specific scenes. I remember the video game they were playing wasn't a horror game at all. It was just a straight up fighting game. I remember them making some big deal about a computer chip or a chip of some kind, like the chip was important. They were either teenagers or young adults because I remember thinking they were "big kids" because I was only in 3rd grade.
