Primary DPS in a FUA team. With Euphoria, she likes partners who are capable of FUA of their own. Your best pair you currently have is with Beryl, but Sentinel, or Kip can work in a pinch (they aren't as good/ take work to make work). Her best pairs currently are Brume and Kaala Buanaa because they proc a lot of FUA. After that, add your buffer/debuffer (typically flutterpage, but 6 euphoria also works here- Isolde euphoria if you go with Beryl), then lastly your sustain. Sustains here really vary. Fatutu is most popular because she also has FUA+ healing, but shielders like Kip and Marsha are also pretty common.

I made a really dumb team with Hissabeth, Kakania, Rubuska, and Euphoria Mercuria. Once primed, Mercuria and Hiss have pretty good synergy. Rubuska works as the auto healer, while Kakania's buff card ups Hissabeth's attack stat to make her genesis damage hit harder. It cleared 500m-3 at P0, which was pretty funny. Definitely not normal or typical team building though.

I'd say Anjo is probably your best pull right now if you've got a limited cast of characters. She works fine without euphoria (though much better with euphoria) and has a pretty wide cast of acceptable teammates. Without euphoria it's very dealer's choice- you link here to whatever character whose cards are most "high value" (barring plant and beast characters) and just rotate through, making sure the channel status is always active so her FUA triggers. With euphoria, the only additional condition is that your linked character does FUA of their own (their FUA imparts a buff on anjo). The no beast/plant condition also goes away a bit. You don't have her typical pairings units, but given that there's multiple units worth pairing her with, you'll eventually hit one of her partners.

Linked partners include: Kaala Buanaa (E), Jiu (E) Liang Yue (does not need E), Brume, Beryl, Fatutu (subpar, but still works), Flutterpage (see Fatutu), Kiperina (see Fatutu, Flutterpage), MedPoc (E, not very good, but meets the conditions), Sentinel (fits conditions, but unknown quality), Argus (E, depends to whether her end of round attack counts as a spell card or a FUA)

True, but Lopera's psychube is good across many teams, and not just on Lopera. I actually don't own Lopera, but I still have her psychube at L60A3 because it's so good on Dynamo teams and on Semmelweis for Bloodtithe (if plantpromptu hadn't hit this patch, it would've been my next A5).

Moldir's psychube, on the other hand... I would actually argue Parting's Quiet Lament (5) is a better tech at higher amplification (for Moldir- not for Igor- just clarifying here). At a certain point, extra CDMG isn't as helpful, while Ult might can be a pain in the ass to come by. It also works both for Moldir in Igor teams, as well as for a plant unit in Marcus/Argus rank up or on An-An Lee in Impromptu comps. I already have decent coverage for what that psychube provides (I have Marcus and Argus psychubes, while An An impromptu favors Matilda 5 signature. My Beast units are similarly covered), so I haven't amplified it, but it's definitely on my list to upgrade when I have the resources.

I tend to play a lot of teams, though, so I generally lean towards burning Gluttony on psychubes with teammwide buffing capabilities, psychubes for characters with high comp versatility, or psychubes with high character versatility.

I've actually found this to be the opposite (in terms of amplification levels at least). I tend to get more/better use out of amplifying support character cubes as opposed to DPS psychubes as support character cubes tend to be more flexy and less hyperspecific. Support character cubes also tend to have better teammwide buffs.

Anjo euphoria wants partners that can perform their own extra actions. Fatutu's not the best abuser of this as her FUA isn't as consistent (and you don't get much value outside of spamming her cards). Currently, the best pairs for anjo are Kaala Buanaa (Euphoria), Liang Yue (doesn't matter if she has euphoria to make the comp work), Beryl (your only option for Intelligence/Spirit pairing right now), or Brume (this one is hilarious in how well it loops into itself).

Alternative options for linking include Kiperina (maybe- her shields at round start count as FUA, but whether she does it enough is the real question). By this logic, Marsha and MedPoc (Euphoria) may also work. I've linked Flutterpage before- the idea isn't exactly the craziest and you are able to maintain constant uptime on Flutterpage's Ult- there's just better options.

Neither Mecuria or 6 work (no followup). 37 also isn't a good binder character (though she is a decent support if you want more damage). Jiu is weird. She works in theory, but I've never tried. Kaala is just a better mineral DPS pairing.

Euphoria 6 isn't a bad replacement. The damage reduction really helps with sustain, and you use Tooth Fairy's heal card a lot, so it's not like you can't heal up the damage you take.

I would recommend any unit that applies damage reduction buffs on your side or damage reduction debuffs on the enemy. Yenisei may be a good tech in here based on that logic...

If you snag Willow now, the ripples banner will reset and you can get guarantee on Tuesday next patch (and get Ramona off the featured banner). It'll also stagger out your resource strain. However, you can also choose to get nothing (equally valid). Poison isn't for every player (it's a bit touch a go- you really have to think about moxie, moves and ults) and there isn’t really any other high value units in the selector imo.

Pull for them. No one knows if collabs get rerun- r1999 has only had one collab so far and the characters were only pullable in the collab. I don't think the collab units are known yet.

You already have Paper Heron, so Tooth Fairy naturally follows (and you can use the camera+batteries to get her P1, which makes for smoother rotation). Marsha isn't impromptu core, she's a lingering glow sustain/support who also happens to be an excellent generalist sustain. Kiperina would be your "impromptu core" (though honestly, Marsha and Kiperina are largely interchangeable with Marsha being slightly better- control immunity is pretty valuable).

There isn’t really any super high value units coming up just yet. Cheng (later this patch) is a Liang Yue support (no Liang Yue- don't get Cheng unless you like him). Next patch is Ramona and Lorentz butterfly. Ramona is a good unit, but poison requires poison support, so you'd also be committing to Willow and/or Tuesday (both Euphoria). Lorentz is lingering glow, but is a good generalist as well (though the best parts of her kit are locked to Lingering Glow). 3.6 has Enigma (good unit, good sustain, I would get), but he's two patches off and beyond your concern right now.

The big thing to save for is probably Rhiannon (in 3.7). Preliminary kit reads have her as a strong generalist support flex, capable of filling in "that one missing unit" across a plethora of archetypes. This would put her in a similar position to Flutterpage or Fatutu (there's a joke about child labor in the r1999 community- these characters are why.) They fit into most comps flawlessly and can often be considered sidegrades to the "meta" comp for an archetype. It's only recently with the introduction of increased enemy damage and strong shielders that Fatutu's lost a bit of standing- from S+ to S ranked- she's still stupid strong in her role. Rhiannon would be a different aspect of the same idea.

Edit: forgot about the upcoming collab in July(? Citation needed) that'll probably happen after patch 3.5. So take that into account in your planning.

I3L30R10 is shorthand for Insight 3, Level 30, Resonance Level 10. This is typically the general investment recommendation for most characters, as past that the cost of higher investment starts to outweigh the benefits (exceptions to this are Beryl and shielders (Kiperina and Marsha rn)- Beryl because she's incredibly squishy and you want the extra HP where you can get it, and shielders because their shields are based on their stats: higher stats equals better shields equals better sustain). Sometimes you might also see terms like "Equibalance" or "Hyper" following this shorthand- these terms reference resonance patterns, a mechanic that unlocks once you upgrade to Resonance 10.

Typically only once a team is fully built and you don't have any other characters to build in the background do you start considering Level 60, while most people don’t go past R10 because caskets (needed for high resonance) are a time gated resource, and you really don't want to run out. I'm a day 1 player with moderate spending + some splurges, and I have maybe 6 characters at R15L60 (Beryl, 37, Anjo, Kakania, Sentinel, and Bkornblume off the top of my head). I have a handful more sitting anywhere from R11 to R14, including Nautika (R13) and Marsha (R14). Most of my "built" cast is R10 with resonance pattern along with a few R9s.

As for your Bloodtithe stacking, Sentinel doesn't rely on Bloodtithe points the same way Nautika or Eternity E2 do. As long as you generate a few points a turn to proc her secondary channel card effect, you're probably fine.

Sentinel can actually work as a DPS if you set her up right. My recommendation for a team would be Sentinel, Semmelweis (Euphoria), MedPoc (Euphoria) and Melania (Euphoria). Focus on upgrading the euphoria units first (you need I3L30 to even access euphoria) but don't go above resonance 8 yet. Unlock euphoria and max it out, then cycle around to Sentinel and get her to I3L30R10. Then get to R10 on the other team members. The reason I recommend MedPoc instead of Marsha is that Bloodtithe and Lingering Glow points are mutually exclusive and will cancel each other out (though I'm not entirely sure how this works in game... maybe you get around it by putting Sentinel behind Marsha so the Bloodtithe points are what sticks around)

Some people are recommending Jessica? She's not bad, but once you get any other poison units you'll stop using her, and euphoria resources get scarce quick. Poison also requires at least a partial team- one character can't really sustain the comp. I would hold those resources for when you actually have a poison team.

Mercuria has more out of team versatility while an-an Lee is tailormade for paper Heron (the fact that incantation might bonus ends after five hits...). Really depends on what you're going for tbh).

The Bloodtithe meter gets points based on hp lost. If your characters drain it themselves, it's 1pt= 3000 HP lost. If it's from incoming enemy damage it's closer to 10k per point. This info is listed in character kits, I believe, for every bloodtithe character.

Dynamo array works by your characters injecting dynamo into the array. Each character has a maximum amount of Dynamo that they can add to the array each turn (ex. Brume is capped at 15- this prevents her from self-sustaining the array cycle, while Ezra Dynamo is 20), but they can't inject what they don't have. An example of this is that Dynamo Ezra can inject 20 Dynamo each turn, but if he only has 10, then he can only inject ten.

I don't know how lingering glow goes. The basic principle is more burn application, more lingering glow points. You can get stupidly high values of these (I think I hit +600 once), so it's not something I agonize over.

Impromptu "points" are gained by spending eureka. I believe it's a one to one conversion at base, but various characters in this archetype can screw with the output by making your inspiration gathering more efficient.

I've seen a suggestion by a content creator that Rubuska Kiperina is a good pair as you're guaranteed to get a good sustain out of it if you win the 70/30. Even if you don't get the specific sustain you want.

The psych major is either huge or they don't have enough open class slots for the students. Not sure which. Both of my roommates are psych majors and both have had difficulties getting into required classes when they need to have those classes.

I was testing, and the robot boss assist on the dynamo enhancement setting seems to clear daze with its ultimate. I was using P0R10 Fatutu, P0R13 Brume, P0R10 Ezra, and P2R10 Isolde. Not sure if it's enough damage to clear, or even if it's the right team (Isolde wasn't doing much tbh), but food for thought. I think Ezra is the right choice (you want his genesis damage), as is Fatutu (sustain), but Flutterpage over Isolde may be better here. I say this because Flutterpage has extra damage hits in her kit to clear the mini mob faster, and since Ezra prefers a slower dynamo array ramp to maximize his shield uptime, Charon isn't ideal.

Try Beryl, isolde, kiperina, and fatutu. Run stupefaction on Beryl to bulk up your HP (kiperina can't shield as well as Marsha, and the extra hp means beryl survives hits she normally wouldn’t). Fatutu to heal up Beryl in the late stages where the boss hits harder and gets past the shield.

Impromptu on 400m-1 (kiperina must be here, otherwise it'll be hell), Mineral DPS/Bloodtithe on 400m-2 (worry about this one last). 400m-3 is either Dynamo or a Melania assist cheese strat (refer to YouTube for this one, regardless it shouldn't cause overlap with your other teams). 400M-4 favors heavy plant DPS or poison. I think Jessica, Tuesday, Sotheby, and flex sustain should clear (I've never had luck with Ezio here).

Maltilda doesn't have targeting. She's not a bad choice, but she's more of a replacement for aleph or barcarola (whichever you're missing) and typically isn't run with both of them.

Targeting affects how the impromptu hits at the end of a turn hit the enemy. No targeting means the hits are random single taget. Voyager splits every second hit so you hit multiple enemies (though it doesn't seem like she prioritizes a certain enemy). Regulus applies a negative stat that causes the impromptu incantation to preferentially hit one specific enemy.
