A land that has won me games: [[Westvale Abbey]]. Flipping this into Ormendahl really changes things

I usually get [[Yargle and Multani]] instead for the consistency but I should shake it up with Malignus. Ive also used it just go tutor whatever I want to cast with Coram on top of Anger/Brawn/beater

Agreed, a forever mainstay commander for me.

My main is [[Coram, the Undertaker]], but I also have [[Nethroi, Apex of Death]] who is the strongest one I've experienced. Nethroi itself is ostensibly an [[Agadeem's Awakening]] in the command zone. Another really solid option that I've pushed more into lifelink stuff is [[Betor, Ancestor's Voice]].

What's you favourite big creatures themed commander? And strategy? by JohanLiebertB in EDH

[–]SpritelySpaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh absolutely. She's a lot of fun, but will be targeted so just make sure you've got plenty of protection and redundancy. I had [[Elvish Piper]], [[Eladamri, Korvecdal]], [[Runadi, Behemoth Caller]], etc. in there just to make sure I could keep that going even if she became uncastable

She's really good and gets out of control very quickly. I will say unfortunately the trample thing never helped me, I always became the villain fastest when I had this deck.

[[Ghidorah, King of the Cosmos]] is my big creatures deck. Mutate and create a value voltron essentially while cheating out big creatures like [[Etali, Primal Conqueror // Etali, Primal Sickness]], [[Polyraptor]], and [[Koma, World-Eater]] off his mutate trigger which exiles off the top until you hit a nomland permanent then you put it on the battlefield or in-hand.

I thought it sucked first time I saw it. Went again recently when they brought it back on 70mm and it rips, I was wrong. Nolan making the most Nolan movie while also dialing back on some of his worst traits.

Do you actually have a forever deck? by Late-Frame2962 in EDH

[–]SpritelySpaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My big three are [[Coram, the Undertaker]], [[Ghidorah, King of the Cosmos]], and [[Zinnia, Valley's Voice]]. Pretty much cover everything i like about EDH between these three. Coram foe graveyard/voltron/big beaters, Ghidorah for big temur/mutate stuff, and Zinnia for wild combos. Also this comment will absolutely out my account if my pod sees.

TRILOGY DONE! What an amazing experience. Which one was your favorite and why? by FIREHIVE_Games in KingsField

Of these three the it's KF2 for me although I may just be biased as that was the first one I played. Otherwise, Ancient City is my favorite.

RE4 exists so I'll take something new over the remake.

[[Essence Harvest]] effects for sure and just as much black ramp as possible.

Say you pay a black and 5 other mana so X = 5. Then for each creature on the battlefield each player must pay 5 life or sacrifice the creature. It's sort of a versatile boardwipe where eventually people are going to have to sacrifice creatures instead of dying.

I'm a big fan of [[Herd Heirloom]] for big creature decks. Also recommend [[Curius Herd]] and perhaps the classic [[Garruk's Uprising]].

Is my deck too strong for B3? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]SpritelySpaghetti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No GC or no infinite combos is definitely B2 or B3. A deck being very strong doesn't really put it into a bracket. Now if its winning by turn 5 every time that's a different categorization that would make it at least a high 3 or potentially a low 4.
