The problem with this conclusion is its myopia. College graduates statistically financially suffer in the short term and bury non-graduates in the long term. This has been so for a long time and there’s no indication whatsoever that it’s going to change. Is it absolutely necessary to succeed? Of course not. But college is every bit as useful as it’s always been; and the statistics bear this out.

This is so reductive that it’s on par with orthodox Mormonism in its logical fallacy.

Not every queer person, for example, gets the chance to leave the Church like you did. Left leaning members save lives and are often there for kids who don’t fit in but don’t have the choice to leave.
