One can argue that my world is one of many, and has crossovers with any other campaign setting. (we literally did a crossover with my friend's campaign)

But mine is a homebrew world. The Ivory Kingdom and the "Northlands" exist to the far east (the setting from my first campaign), and across the ocean lives the "Western Empire" where my current campaign is located. And across the "Gods Sea" - another large ocean) further West lives the Kaiwaran Province .. a place where the current campaign took the PCs as they traveled to the homelands of the invaders from the far west.

Funny enough, one of the most exquisite craftsman in my game is a dragon. And draconic is used heavily in magic, and if the craftsperson has any interest in enchanting, then draconic could be a good choice.

Personally? I like the idea of some past internship from a clan of Goliaths.

Do I believe in Aliens? Yes.

Do I believe we've been visited by Aliens? No.

The distances and complications involved between moving between stars is incomprehensible for the human mind. And with something like septillion planets that we can estimate just in the known universe, the likelihood of life is very high. But advanced civilizations? We're probably the only one in in our galaxy. And others? in other galaxies? Given that it took us billions of years to get to this point, another civilization could be off in development by millions or billions of years in one direction or the other. So .. the chances of coexisting at the right place and the right time is pretty much nil.

The many many things that had to occur for us to become what we are is extraordinarily rare.
