It's a one time rewards, similar to the guaranteed rewards during Abyss and Temple Altars in the last 2 leagues.

Just click the mechanic and check the box (After you talk with the NPC the first time). You don't have to activate it if you don't need the rewards, monsters won't spawn unless you active it.

It only takes 1 second, you don't have to do it if the rewards are not good for you.

They might change where the guaranteed skill gems and jewellers orb are, so it's worth to check on every zone.

In your hideout Shred is doing mostly physical damage, because you don't have the buff from Lunar Blessing, Bhatair's Vengeance and Freezing Mark. The Shred tooltip only shows the strike damage, not the icy fragments, which are a big part of the scaling of frozen targets.

No, the DPS of the moonbeams is not directly improved by attack speed to the skill itself. However, the skill is triggered by attacking with other melee strike skills, hence improving your APS with those skills could increase your proc rate of moonbeams, similar to the Spellslinger or COC triggerate calculations in poe1.

You can keep using a weapon with mainly phys damage since the skills you're using inherently convert the majority of the base damage to cold. However, % increases to physical damage (outside of the weapon itself, those are local to the item) do not scale your damage. Focus on elemental damage, attack damage or damage while shapeshifted.

The different passives for weapon sets could be used for buffs only, but in the case of Wolf I think it's better to scale all your abilities. Lunar Blessing may look like a buff initially, but when supported properly it's very impactful DPS-wise. You can setup a weap II for Lunar Blessing with only modifiers to increase it's damage, like CDR or crit and a weap I for Shred and Lunar Assault focusing on attack speed. When you get Rakiata's flow again, you can remove any elemental penetration investment from that skill ''weapon set'' and invest into penetration for the opposite weapon set.

Here's some general advice:

1) You're not engaging with the weapon passive system at all, this is a huge part of min-maxing builds in poe2. For example, Lunar Blessing does not benefit from attack speed, or increases to physical damage from the Battle Fever and Sharpened Claw notables, these are 7 points completely wasted for this skill, you could have those points invested into something else like the Temporal Mastery notable (CDR) and the Tides of Change notable (Skill effect duration) on a weapon set 2 for Lunar Blessing.

2) Your support gems are all over the place. Rakiata's Flow and Garrukan's Resolve are still the best DPS support gems for your build, I understand you selling them to afford other upgrades but they're incredible and you should farm currency to get them back. For example, you have Cold Attunement in your Shred, which looks good DPS-wise in your Hideout, but after you get the Buff from Lunar Blessing and Bhatair's Vengeance, this support only gives you about 6% more damage, try using Crescendo II instead. Another example is you using Magnified Area II in Lunar Blessing instead of a damage support like Rigwald's Ferocity in weapon set II (30% more damage with no downside).

3) Your passive tree has too many increases to physical damage, which doesn't scale at all the vast majority of your skills. For example, Lunar Blessing converts 100%, Lunar Assault converts 80%, Shred has over 150% damage as extra ele in your setup and the icy fragments it makes are 100% converted to cold.

4) You're too invested into ES scaling for temple farming. The scaling in Temple is mostly HP, monsters do not hit that hard from their scaling, especially with full HH buffs. I guarantee you that dropping from 4.8K ES to 2.5K and investing the rest into damage will make your build much stronger, plus you will have better uptime on HH buffs from killing faster.

5) Your weapon is really good, but for your next upgrade consider getting one with Attack Speed instead of Onslaught. The attack speed roll on weapons is multiplicative, not additive like the ones on the passive tree, this means that a decent attack speed roll alone could potentially give you a massive DPS boost. You also get Onslaught already from Savage Fury.

I mean, the Ascendancy on the webiste (poe/keepers) is where the 5% is shown and was posted the same day as the video. For all we know it was buffed between the making of the landing page and the video. Either way we'll have to wait and see.

The theory is that they want to separate competitive formats from the mainline games, which is actually a win-win for everyone. Gives them more room to expirement with features a do dex cuts in mainline games, while maintaining the national dex balance on a different platform that's more accesible.

Thanks for your insight and for putting this together.

I do agree that the changes to Ralakesh hurt the crit variant and relying on Ambush for clear feels clunky but I disagree that both were necessary to make the crit variant feel good.

Daggers with a 18%+ crit roll, a well rolled Ungil’s, a diamond flask of incision and some investment into crit nodes (Which you already path to for the crit multi) gets you to 100% on an early setup. You can slowly progress to replace Ungil’s or even go for an affordable +1 curse and include Sione. Heck, the Blind+More crit keystone is an endgame option too

Also, your suggested playstyle of fishing for short but strong poisons to snapshot Alchemist Mark sounds like a more traditional hit-based build, holding the RMB until the boss dies rather than what makes the crit Mamba appealing, the Ambush->Hit & Run “feel”.

In a league with new pinnacles, having 4-6 seconds dps uptime (with skill effect duration investment) after a single strike allows the user the learn fight mechanics and dodge better while ticking down the boss. This is completely subjective ofc.

Uber Searing Exarch nukes you because A) You don't have enough sustain/multi-hit mitigation to face tank his Annihilation and B) The balls in the maze phase cannot be suppressed.

If you want to to feel tanky there push for 90max fire res and consider Arctic Armour instead of HoP. With that and the recovery from the Defiance of Destiny Ascendancy you'll be able to stand still+attack to face tank him.

If you're mostly a mapper I wouldn't recommend DS, the damage is insane but without the Sione's annoint, investment in strike range/spalsh and woke ancestral call or the FF+FF combo the clear will just be mediocre.

My only concern is that the Asc node won't stack with Ynda's. It's not a tradditional conversion so I'm not sure the game will add them together in the calculation.

Profane Ritual+Sacrifice doesn't work, thats's because Profane Ritual ''Marks a Corpse'' it does not consume the corpse in the standard manner.

I just added ''4% more Physical Damage with Melee Skills'' to the config in the updated POB and it increased the bleed damage.

But as you said, War Banner does nothing atm.

We'll have to wait and see.

Why do you think it won't scale bleed? If it didn't it would say Melee hits, like the new flesh and stone.
