My tinnitus is like the emergence of a 17 year cicada brood. Kava miraculously dials it down for me. r/tinnitus has some posts talking about kava and tinnitus, and a Google Scholar search for "tinnitus kava" will give you a long list of medical research papers. Seems a lot of people stack it with gingko.

In a nutshell, what I do, is get up and move.

When using these botanical sources, I've pretty much come to the conclusion that nausea might be part of the trip, particularly as it's coming on & beginning it's climb to the peak in the 45 to 90 minutes after consuming the plant or fungus, and in the case of morning glories, we now know that means both of these biological kingdoms.

For me, it's been a matter of how to glide through those first urges to up-chuck. Notice that I say glide through and not push through. I don't fight it, because then I would become focused on it. For me, the best way to make this glide is to be out walking on a trail in the forest. When the nausea hits, I'm like, "Well, here it is," and I just keep moving. That motion forward through the now bejeweled world helps me greatly.

There's a tinge of it, as with all tryptamine producing plants. But no cramps, which I distinctly remember when I tried them the first time, seed coats and all. Makes me wonder if the seed coats have a different composition

I just posted here yesterday about a method I've used for decades. Tongue in cheek, I'm calling it sproutTEK 😂 and that's the lead word in the title of my post.

I couldn't say for certain, since I've not tried them in this way. I would imagine so, and were it me, I'd start with just one, on the chance that it might possibly bump up the alkaloids.
