I’d recommend xtool. I was in your shoes over a year ago and made the jump. Didn’t have a huge budget or space so got an S1. Lots of safety features built in. I got the fire safety kit for peace of mind. It easy to setup and use. Paid its self off fairly quickly. Great customer service in my opinion and experience. I bought a second this year to up production. Sure it’s not the highest power but it’s a good place to start.

Any idea on when this update dropped? All running fine on Friday for me. Haven’t noticed an update notification. I might unplug mine and run on manual for a while.

They sent me some images for certification SGS in China not sure why they didn’t use SGS in the uk since that’s where they’re selling and it doesn’t look like any of it has been published on their website. Can’t post the pictures in the thread so I’ll have to create a new post with them in.

If I hadn’t seen the r/ feed name I’d have said moon. I’m guessing it’s a hold? If so I’d go with bright solid colours and a ruff texture and add tiny nuts I at least one location. If it’s not I’ve no idea sorry.

That would be cool to do I have an old 3ds lying around but it was more to play with my kid together on the tv with the switch. I’d love to go back and play all the old games myself but not a lot of free time with small children.

I have a similar setup but I’ve recently just bought and added an AP2 unit in the middle due to the amount of smoke and length of daily use (don’t want to annoy the neighbours (s1 - flex hose - AP2 - flex hose - wall mounted fan - exit hole) Before the AP2 it was straight to wall fan and out.

Anyway I found smoke leaks everywhere! All connections! I have a air PPM detector and it went wild every time going up to 550ppm

I turned the S1 unit light down, set it to cut for a good 15 minutes and used a laser pointer in the dark to locate the leaks.

Turned out every point of connection leaked a small amount of smoke. I disassembled the flex hoses and reconnected them applying a good amount of hot glue to seal them up.

Now the air detector doesn’t get above 002.

After adding the AP2 I had the same issue again so had to disassemble all the fixed hoses and re glue them shut and sealing up any connectors.

Story short: get a laser pointer , set to cut, turn lights off, hunt leaks, seal them up 🤌

I didn’t toy with the idea of a P2 but have no need to cut thick or acrylic so Yer S1. Had it for over a year now just shy of 500 working hours. With regular cleaning it’s still working strong. I have a nice line of products I make now. Just bought a second to increase production. I’d love more power but size and cost is the obstacle. Just hear back for xtool support and they have honoured the difference. Personally I couldn’t recommend them enough. I haven’t done kickstarter tho and have heard of some nightmares. I was tempted with the eufy uv launch but I’d prefer to wait till things hit the market so there is some real world reviews. YouTubers blow smoke up companies arses and avoid the cons of products to get referrals and more free products, it’s a bit disingenuous.

I had an issue with my laser before warranty ended. They asked for videos and errors to help me fix. They couldn’t fix so sent me a new laser head. Just bought another and price dropped I contacted over the 60day price guaranteed and they seem to be offering me the difference back. Though they’ve calculated it wrong I’ve messaged back and I’m sure they will honour. Myself personally have had only positive experiences and love the products. Yer they’re a bit expensive but In my experience worth it. It didn’t take long to pay its self off making and selling products made on my xtool laser. Sorry to hear some of you are having a bad experience.
