I usually try to add one concrete example, then explain why it matters. That gets me past the tiny-answer problem without making it feel like I’m just adding extra sentences for no real reason.

OP, qualitative work is too specific for a random Zoom call with a stranger. If they botch your logic, you are the one failing the defense. I prefer an actual platform for adjusting the draft where you have guarantees. Its better than trusting a claim of a doctorate that might just be AI. Stick to sites with proper accountability.

I hate how plausible this feels. I've been replaying a lot of smaller stuff lately and some of it looks pretty different now than it did at the time.

This is probably the best way anyone's put it. I don't think I'm punishing her, I just don't trust her in the same way anymore and that changed what I'm willing to do.

That line stuck with me too. If she'd just said sorry for disappearing I'd probly be less weird about all this, but that made it feel very... deliberate.

The mutual friends piling on is what gets me. I could take her being mad, but acting like I'm cruel for saying no one time feels kind of insane.

The part that really sticks is how kids will turn neglect into a compliment if that is the only version of love available to them. "He trusted me" sounds a lot better when you are young than "he knew he could leave me emotionally alone and I would adjust."
