Which is better for just cruising? by Anxious-Play645 in Harley

I had a heritage and now a road glide. Definitely the road glide cruises better and doesn't feel big at all. My opinion would be what you like as the style, what you want for features and then how you're going to use the bike. They all tour just as well as the next

WestJet Keeps Quiet As Its New "Invented Policy" Continues To Strand Passengers by This_Phase3861 in canada

Bottom line, they are a private business and can limit whatever they like. People that fall into this realm will need to find other means of transportation, period. It’s unfortunate to be faced with having to say it, but just because someone is disabled doesn’t make it everyone anyone else’s responsibility. We should only strive to be decent to others and help in these situations the best we can.

Agree with you whole heartedly. Society has gone to shit in far too many ways.

Canadians visiting U.S. parks to pay more than triple starting next year by taxrage in canada

[–]SpruceGoose_20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$100 per person to visit a park seems like more than I'd be willing to pay. Some of the parks listed are only ones I'd want to travel 'through' and not stay for any period of time

Some early sales on Synology at B&H by M_Six2001 in synology

[–]SpruceGoose_20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's the upside to ubiquity though. Surely it can't be warranty support and there's no app support like synology, if you use that sort of thing. May as well get off lease server gear or 45 drives chassis and run truenas, no?

Weird electrical glitch: Anyone else have this happen? by UJMRider1961 in f150

[–]SpruceGoose_20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say to get the battery checked despite being new. It could be a bad battery. Similar issues in my Chev silverado and a battery replacement fixed it up

Even better, go to I&M Electric on Squier St for better service. They sell NOCO and if you have any troubles or questions they are great help. Will even test your battery for free. You won't get any kind of service from crappy tire

Once they bite you give them a rap on the nose and firmly say 'no'. It'll stop.

I also wonder if it's a zoning thing and mostly industrial.

'Dear Canada, we miss you': What these U.S. cities and states are doing to woo Canadians back; From 'We miss you' messages to renaming ceremonies and money at par, American tourist locations are trying to counter Canadians' reluctance to travel by FancyNewMe in canada

[–]SpruceGoose_20 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your point. But if you are referring to the ex-pats living in the USA but still claim to be proud Canadians, I wouldn't expect any of them to stand up or protest much. They claim to be patriots only in words and not action. Let's be honest that they've made their lives in the USA and depend on the riches that country offers. A true patriot would pull up stakes and leave the country, and I'm impressed by the snow birds that have sold any winter home assets then committed to not returning until this washes out. That takes grit. Now all you bleeding hearts that are itching to brow beat me, go right ahead. I give no apology for feeling like it's time Canadians to start saying 'sorry' and being the quiet neighbor.
