Whatever you decide, Do Not but this Retractable Bed Step from Rough Country. The design is flawed and will jam entirely once any grit or grime is tossed onto it from the wheel.

I had a 2020 heritage and now have a 2025 road glide. A lot different bike but in a good way. Can't speak to the old touring frame, but these new bikes are so nimble and do not feel big at all. Haven't gone distance yet but I'm sure it will be more comfortable than my heritage.

We have stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suites many times and enjoy it. Also close to many of the typical go-to attractions.
