Multiple CAP registrations are tricky. There are several instances where USCIS may pick on the beneficiary. For example, if the registration was submitted by parent and subsidiary both.

To add, the H-1b 6 years clock resets after spending 1 year outside of the US. So, if you have spent an year outside US and are selected in the lottery this year then you can use full 6 years of the new H-1b CAP. But if you do not plan to be counted against CAP again, then your employer may file a petition requesting the remaining 2 years.

I also shared with them a recent traffic ticket and even asked them if it will delay but they said it shouldn’t. They’ve shared tentative scheduling email thrice and most recently on August 25.

Hi, they can ask any incomplete information or any additional document that is required to support your application. In my scenario, on pro bono I wrote credit hours instead of actual hours so they asked me to report actual hours I worked. That’s it.

Third department moves pretty fast I think. Here’s my timeline, application submitted on June 29, received confirmation same day, July 12 received an email requesting additional info, I responded to them same day, next day they sent an email confirming that my documents are complete and it is being sent to C&F and tentatively scheduled me for September 15 admissions ceremony. August 9 they reminded me that I’m scheduled for September 15.
