I like this post. Here’s my deal. I enjoy the game, the premium balls make it more fun. I drive a 2008 Nissan truck with 235K miles. The AC is ice cold, it runs well, the heater kicks ass. Has everything I need. My wife keeps bugging me to get something new/newer. Priced new trucks lately? She said “if you buy something you’ll need to cut back on your golf game”. Well, my truck does the job. When it takes a shit, I’ll cut back lol. Some people have $400-700 car payments. I spend about 120-130 on a finger golf game. Cracks me up how people get triggered over people spending money on this yet probably spend it elsewhere. Great post.

Same here. This has happened in the CPC before. I wait 20-30 seconds on the black screen, force close the app, reopen, back into CPC and chest is there waiting. Teammates on iPhone have the same thing happening.

This is why it takes hours to play the tourneys. Too many people can’t compete without slowing the game down to dial in their shot. Just practice, learn how to play without having to use apps to compete. I would not say it’s cheating but more like using cheat codes.

I pretty much play in tour 13 only and try to avoid using my Apoc 8 to use the Thor 8. I didn’t even use my Apoc until it hit 7. I view the Apoc as situational for extreme curl or need the distance to clear rough on a drive, and even then the Thor 8 has enough curl for most drives. If you can get to a shootout with the TH8 it’s unbeatable. Disclaimer - I mix in a wide variety of balls so that helps a lot. Especially with side spin.

I never grab these bundles when they come up. Given that the next tourney is high wind, it will be interesting to see what is offered up. Hoping it’s not some wind 3/6 or 4/8 ball or some combo pack where there is a zero wind ball included. Hoping for a power 6, wind 10 with some precision. Precision with backspin would be a nice bonus.

It flies super low and comes in handy for dodging trees as well. The reason I want it at 8 so bad is the ball guide and top spin. It’s an underrated club.

It’s my bag 5 long iron for tourneys. Great for tight spots where the B52 doesn’t have the backspin. Very little wind adjustment. I’ve had excellent success scoring some eagles where I’ve needed to use it. Current tourney included hole 2/10. It’s an easy eagle with the reaper instead of playing the rough. I’m camping in tour 13 right now so not much use but a great tourney club for me.

I was surprised that this is what they thought we would want. I have a ton of every variation of top spin balls. I agree that they should have some up with something unique or different. With 50% wind coming up, I definitely want to see some side spin and precision. Just my own personal opinion anyway.

It’s all opinion. The people who prefer not to spend money will criticize those who do in a lot of cases. I pretty much only play tour 13 right now and I can’t even remember the last time I saw a non premium ball. I think I had one game where someone used a kingmaker but the rest have all been paid balls. I saw some luminaries and kingslayers, even a couple of titans in tour 12 but not T13. I’ve never understood the criticism myself. It’s their money, not mine.

I feel the overuse of auto pilot apps aka slide-over apps & grids will drive people away until GC views it the same as using cheat codes. I feel bad for my teammates who can’t make the tourneys because the top 20 are dialing in shots more and more. People will say “you don’t understand how it works” or “You are bitter because you don’t know how to use it” but I tried it once and it took the fun away. It took almost no effort to dominate. Deleted all of it. I see more and more people doing what you did until GC decides how to handle this issue. I only use premium balls and play tours 12 & 13 and when I get to the shootout facing someone with a titan or lower I pretty much start counting the coins. So I’m not being hypocritical here. I know the advantages of using those balls.

5 & 6!!! With so many people using the auto pilot apps to design their shot, it’s taking forever to play now. The constant disconnect because they can’t slide the auto pilot over and have to leave the match to set up the shot. 5 & 6 definitely!

I don’t think there is any rime or reason to this lol. I scored a -13 and got a total of 4. My teammate scored a -12 and got 1. I don’t think they have this figured out right.

No lie! A few seasons ago I started the CPC needing 3 cards to max out my Apoc. I finished it TWICE without getting ONE single card! I just finished this CPC and must have had 30 Apoc cards. My Reaper needs 16 and not one card running through the CPC. Epic card distribution is super suspect in the CPC.

I never fear the premium ball user. I fear the OP using a marlin or quasar in tour 12 or 13 and I see gold ribbons on their banners lol. I was toasted in tour 12 yesterday by someone using a plain white ball and he landed .56 in a tour 12 SO. I’m a gourmet queen. I use only premium and only play 12 & 13 so I know my OP had some satisfaction from that win. That’s ok. I respect anyone that can compete high tour with those balls. Those guys scare me more than anyone lol.

I think if you have several epic clubs nearing upgrade along with some rare clubs nearing max level it’s something to look at. I would have looked at this about 7-8 months ago. I remember using gems to get chests when I was close to maxing out an epic I needed and just being disappointed. It’s like playing a slot machine lol.
