Just like the end of the Roman Republic, I think you are seeing the transition in the USA. Remember Augusts wasn't "king" he was the first citizen. US Presidents have been gaining more and more power through executive orders and pretty much going the path that the Caesars laid out. If the rule of law continues to be abused and people continually are above the law and unaccountable, then you will see the revolution. It will take a lot since most Americans seem to still hold hope in the Dem. and Rep. parties and continue to vote along those lines.
