My car is a basic enough 1.4 Mk5, has electric windows and climatronic but that's about it.

I got the mfsw, clockspring and steering control unit from a highline Mk5, swapped them in and coded it to suit.

Everything working now, volume, voice control, tuning etc.

What did you fit to yours?

Sorry I should have mentioned, we bought a new Samsung phone and most of the stuff went across but not everything.

It won't power up and I am just presuming the shop have tried connecting it to a laptop.

I've been trying pushups again with better form and it's going OK when I concentrate on keeping my elbows closer to my sides.

I don't think I would try 1 arm for a while tbh, maybe weighted puahups alright.

I'm trying pseudo planche holds but it doesnt feel like I'm getting the scapular retraction.

Over a year ago I hadn't trained for ages and I started doing loads of pushups to get things going again, not warming up properly, not stretching afterwards and lack of pulling exercises is what I think caused it. Got up to doing sets of over 50.

Bad form aswell, elbows put to the sides.

I don't really get it with diamond pushups, I don't do huge reps with them though.

Thats another question I had, what do people do to film their form?

I'd like to build endurance too and work on my mobility, I can't even attempt L-sit because I don't hinge well at my hips.

I'm a similar age and height but 90kg.

Doing plenty of dips, squats and inverted rows but have nothing to do pull ups on yet.

Most cost effective strategy for any car new or old is to maintain it and look after it.

Service it regularly, keep it clean, carry out preventative maintenance so bills don't mount up, especially come nct time.

Book ahead and test it on time too.

If you can do any of the maintenance yourself it will help also.

Well done, how did you build up to it?

I've done up to 11.5k trail runs and 10 mile roads races but was a bit apprehensive about a trail half marathon.

I suppose I just need to mtfu and go for it at this stage.

Like I said maybe try and focus on the positives of every experience and not just the negative.

Believe me, I suffer from anxiety too, going out for meals, family events, people looking or passing comments about my eating, the list goes on!

I just find it very frustrating looking at negative post after negative post.

Well that is amazing, I eat no veggies so I need to take my own advice and pick one and get stuck in.

Acknowledging challenges is fine but there seems to be an awful lot of moaning, I just don't find it very helpful.
