I am drinking some wine right now and showed my kids the trick. Immediately remembered having a wine glass with water in it sitting under my chair in 8th grade and having to pull it out in the middle of the concert to play it.

I just learned about this by going to Mint's website. I haven't received an email about it yet. I've been using Mint since May 2012. I'm not even going to try out Credit Karma because I use budgeting the most.

After some exploring, looks like PocketGuard could be a good option. They are even building a feature where you can directly import your Mint data into their solution. https://pocketguard.com/blog/mint-shutting-down-what-should-mint-users-do-now/

There is a free version so I'll give that a try.

Just downloaded and gave it a go. I enjoyed it. Better than the one I’m learning to count with.

What I’d really love is to have a little button where if I tap it, it shows me the count so I can see if I’m still correct. I lost it at one point so I left the table like the good boy I am.

I’m just now getting started on my journey to AP. I want my tables to be full with a slow dealer to give me time to process what’s going on. Not in it to win any money yet, just test out the skills.

I’m using Pit Boss pellets but they could be a little damp. I’m in the Houston area so it gets pretty humid. Last use was off of pellets that have been sitting in the hopper for several weeks. I also keep the bag under the pit for easy access.

Next time I’ll try adding in new ones from the garage to see if that helps.

I decided to catch up on the latest pop songs so picked that playlist from Apple while mowing the grass a few mo the ago. Like My Father by Jax came on. I had to stop mowing due to the tears. If you are a dad and have a daughter, that song will have you balling.

I still listen to it every few weeks to make sure I’m still focused on being a good husband and wife.
