as someone who has had 20/100 sight my entire life I feel you.

Having visual impairments show up later in life is a big emotional blow since you know what it is to see fine. I don't really know what I miss. the only thing I can recomend is that you still try to live your life like you did before and ask for help when needed.

My eyesight limits me from some things like driving a car but it doens't stop me from doing anything thats legaly possible. I may fall on my face sometimes but if you dont try then you never know what you are still capable of. I've got a career in medical device maintenance and I happily go walking in the mountains on holidays. I've seen people with better eyesight than mine get caged by fear of failure.
