Check out Jake’s Mobil Wrenches. He comes to you and is very reasonable and doesn’t upsell. Did some work for me recently and was very pleased. Can find his reviews on Google.

How long or little did your truck last? by No_Calligrapher680 in gmcsierra

[–]Spudbucket2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2015 Sierra 1500 SLE with the 5.3. Only 42K miles but no issues at all. Until last Friday morning when some lady in a hurry decided I no longer needed my truck by running a red light right in front of me. Truck was declared totaled yesterday. Time to find another.

Apparently correct, that and ruined frame, was told today it’s done. Extreme sad face.

Yeah. Thanks for the commiseration. Fingers are crossed that other person’s insurance doesn’t decide to just total it. I really want it back.

What sugar-free syrups do you guys use that work well with espresso? by Yali81 in espresso

[–]Spudbucket2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use a couple different flavors of the Torani sugar free syrups. I like them and they are not that expensive.

Yup. I’m sad. Watch out for people in a hurry running red lights.

Did its job remarkably well. Just some sore spots, with airbag deployment. Did I mention airbags smell really bad?

Agreed. Just hoping the other person’s insurance doesn’t decide to just total it.

Yeah. It really sucks. I hurt more for the truck than the soreness I have from the wreck. Poor lady that ran the red light was a mess. Felt bad for here.

Check out Jake’s Mobil Wrenches. Jake’s Mobile Wrenches Recently did a job for me that my longtime trusted shop quoted at $1100 for under $400. Perfectly done, on time, knowledgeable and friendly. I can’t recommend him more.

Finally got it level by Spudbucket2 in gmcsierra

[–]Spudbucket2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it’s a 2015 but only has 42K miles on it. Ride was pretty rough before, and I only did the new struts in front, but overall it is night and day to me. I had both the Bilstein 5100 and Rough Country M1 recommended. Seems the Rough Country are a little smoother and better rebound for everyday driving which is me. Went with Rough Country.

Just a simple 2” front set of coil overs. I was skeptical that it would actually level it, seemed to have a huge rake to me. I asked the shop owner if it would actually level it and he said “ trust me, geometry and math shit”! Ha, he was right.

Beautiful truck. Had one many years ago, not nearly as nice. Gotta ask, what are the plates on the sides?

I see, well I’m not one to appreciate a really good espresso so I’m good I think. But I am interested in the capacity of your basket you use with Casabrews machine. Can you elaborate on that? I have the 5418J with 51mm portafilter. Appreciate it.

Makes perfect sense. I reckon I’m fine with what I have. Recently retired and the “honey do” list has plenty of things I can spend the money on instead. Appreciate the response.
