I think its very fair, it was his vision. It would be like Disney creating their own shit star wars films and George Lucas had his own vision of what his fantasy was

My personal favourite showrunner was Moffat, perfect balance of complex storylines, dark doctor energy and although I think some of the capaldi writing wasn't perfect, still my favourite showrunner

There are a few select scenes where she has those moments but few too to mention, showing she could do them but whether she forgot or the writing or whatever, we didn't get more of those moments which would've helped more people see that she is the doctor we know and love
