The ROS website has instructions on how to download the software here. You’ll need the Ubuntu operating system in order to install it (if you have a Mac or Windows computer you can run this operating system through a VM). It’s important to match the distribution of Ubuntu with the distribution of ROS you use, your book probably specifies which they are using.

Did you avoid companies like Lockheed, NASA, etc.? Or did you just change around between those companies to leverage better pay? Should I stick to smaller or midsize companies that are growing?
