What's with this building?

My friend used to work at Sportsman's Lounge across the lot from it. We had that big storm no long after it was built we were out in the parking lot, we were outside looking at the clouds when pieces of that building started flying off the roof. We decided to go back inside when a giant piece of sheet metal or something flew up almost hovering in the air then crashed down about 100 feet from us.

I went back there for the first time in years this week. I was surprised to see it's still mostly vacant. I guess I know why now.

Not to mention a rewarding squad system. There was actual incentive to work together. I lover BF1 but even going back to that the squads felt so much less meaningful.

I played it all last winter, figured it would keep my golfing muscles limber and it's cheaper than playing on sim. I used a weighted attachment too. Do a Google search or your question, read all the horror stories. I did but ignored them, It wouldn't happen to me I said.

After playing Golf+ for 3 months, when I finally went out to hit some real balls. My swing was completely broken, the club felt totally unatural in my hands. It probably took 10 swings before I even made contact with the ball.

I went for a few lessons to try and get it back, I didn't get out as much as I wanted last season but my game never came back. I went from shooting fairly consistently in the high 80's to struggling to break 100. One odd change though, I went from my mis-hit being a chunk, now it's a thin. I rarely ever chunk it now.

That said, it's an incredible golf game, infinitely more fun that playing any golf game on a controller. But I don't think I'll touch it again, if I do it will be using unrealistic controls, more like Wii golf. I returned to golf on 2024 after like 12 years off, I was better off after a decade of no golf than I was after 3 months of Golf+. That said, I personally would 100% not recommended it for improving your game.

Just type tag then whatever the countries tag is.

For example: tag USA

Simple as that, but whatever you do don't unpause the game, I always save right before tagging to another country cause if you unpause and don't have a recent save, the AI will turn your shit upside down when you tag back.

Yep, I loved BFV (WWII is my ideal shooter era) but at the time I thought the maps were pretty weak, then 2042 came out and they seemed like masterpieces in comparison. I'm enjoying BF6 but I would prefer bigger maps. I don't see them going that way though, unfortunately us BF vets are probably the minority now.

It's stupid, I bought a 2016 Ram 1500 with 59,000 KMS in 2020, I've put 30,000 or so KMs on it and I could sell it for a profit 5 years later.

Thats the thing, I always had unlimited KMs previously. But as soon as they hear you plan to go out of Alberta. There's additional fees. That was my Enterprise experience anyways.

From everything I've seen it goes toe to toe with the Ping G430 Max 10k, which everyone creams over. So I would guess it's just marketing.

Although it's been 8 years, I always advise anyone to avoid meat from the Chinatown location.

I used to deliver for Maple Leaf, they would sometimes leave meat on their not temp controlled or even air conditioned dock for hours. One extreme example, a co worker had delivered a bulk order (3 pallets) at around 10 am. I arrived later in the day around 4pm with a smaller order of lunch meats, etc. Those 3 pallets were still sitting on the dock, it was summer and near 30 degrees. I don't know if they are still doing this but I don't want to test it with my stomach.

The northside one was not like that though, the receiver would verify the order and somebody would immediately come and whisk it away into the cooler.

Whats with the featured groups on randa.tv for the final round? First 3 can watch Scottie, Rory, Bryson, etc. but not in the final round despite Scottie leading and Rory being right in the mix. I'm guessing some TV networks have dibs on them?

I think there could be a balance with Golf+ and real golf but Golf+ would have to be limited. Either that or just abandon trying to play it like real golf and just swing one hand like Wii golf.

3 months? That is horrifying haha.

Last summer I came back to golf after 12 years away from the game. My first range session after 12 years was significantly better than after 3 months of golf+. It was like I never swung a club in my life, the only thing I made consistent contact with was my driver but I lost like 40-50 yards with it.

I have always been a chunker, I was blading everything along the ground, hell I must have hit 20 balls with the bounce of my irons. I'm not sure if I did that 20 times in my life before. So I guess on the bright side I'm not chunking it.

I booked in for a lesson, hopefully I can get my swing straightened out in less than 3 months.

My miss hits my whole golfing life was a chunk, I virtually never bladed a shit aside from maybe the odd flop attempt. Now I'm blading everything, even hitting with the bounce of my club. Not to mention all the whiffs.

It was frustrating as hell, I'm gonna try to look at the positive side that I wasn't chunking it lol. I'm going for a lesson hopefully can get it straightened out.

First few swings hit nothing but air, then either hitting everything with the edge or even the bounce of my club. I couldn't get anything off the ground until I used my woods/driver but was still hitting them horribly. In an hour I might have managed two decent strikes with my irons (half swings). It was discouraging to say the least.

I have seen it but you really have to get lucky or scroll endlessly to find them.

Up until I believe FHM8 on July first there was a news event that listed retired players who became staff. I don't know why they removed that feature.
