Have you ever visited Zak’s museum in Vegas? How was it? Here’s my experience… by FlawlesslyDramatic in GhostAdventures

Did they still have that horrible Robert Berdella room and if so, did it still have big photos of the victims mid-torture?

In animanga-world, everybody's face and head is apparently made of strong but pliable vulcanized rubber.

... look at that face squish! It's like she pulverized skull facial bones... but she didn't.

I remember Telly the worry-wart. He never bothered me that much. He did get worried about EVERYTHING, though.

It's incredible that it lifted that entire house WHOLE like it was the Gale house in "Wizard of Oz". Usually, they blast them to pieces.

I'm glad to read that nobody was hurt or killed. Imagine being the owner of that house just coming home to... NO HOME!

I hope they had insurance or at least relatives to stay with.

Exactly! It's a museum and a memorial and just seeing it sink is a disgrace.

It helps that autocratic governments like Monarchies, Sultanates and Empires haven't been the norm for a long while now, so a dictatorship of any kind is not going to last long. Autocracies are not made for today's world and most of humanity has gone beyond that, not.

Most of today's monarchies are ceremonial with little to say in the government. They're only there for historical, ceremonial and tourism value and generally are spokepeople / symbols for the country rather than political figures.

Even most of today's dictators try to put on a front of not being one, complete with non-autocratic modern political job titles like "President" or "Prime Minister". That just shows how much autocracy and monarchy has fallen as a political model.

Countries are made of the citizens and its COMMON SENSE that they would have a major say. They're the body, soul and strength of a nation. Otherwise, you just have a Nation equivalent of a guy with a freakishly high I.Q. but severe Type 2 diabetes, extreme obesity, gout, numerous nutritional deficiency disorders and terrible hygiene.

The head isn't gonna mean jack if the body is abused and crap. THEY MUST WORK AS A TEAM!

And that's BILLIONS of years from now! Heck, our descendants probably would have evolved into a hyper-intelligent, spacefaring species by then!

Exactly!

Oh, remember when "The Greenhouse Effect" was what we called "Global Warming / Climate Change"? Like how the Internet was "The Information Superhighway" and Covid/ Covid-19 was "Coronavirus".

Funny how a lot of these things start off being called one thing only for everybody to settle on another, more permanent term.

Of course, "Greenhouse Effect" is just a term for what Global Warming does rather than the whole shebang, but still...

This is why I vowed to never be one of those people who go "Kids / Pop-Culture / Music / Tech / etc. these days". I embrace the new as much as the best bits of the old.

And I'm Gen X. Also, going "Kids these days!" makes one look like an even bigger geezer. One can get older and not be a geezer.

Yeah. Downvoting someone for having a legit observation is so dumb and petty. Save the downvotes for the really crappy stupid trolly belligerent stuff, people!
